I'm currently in rehearsals for a play and with thanksgiving and christmas rounding the corner soon my plate will be full, but with all three major ideas fully formulated for the most part, I figure I might as well release it now and come back for the results in a few months.

So after a regular game, I will be having these twists up my sleeve. Just being sure to patent them first and wondering if any of them receive negative or positive feedback.

The ideas:

High North Mafia: A bit experimental
-This idea will be centered around the american civil war. The two sides of the union and the confederacy along with the major historical figures of that era will be the theme. This means roles, gameplay, etc.
-The twist to this is that sunrise never comes, it is always dark in this game, it is always night.
-That being established, players will only be allowed to post their "night actions" and instead must PM their votes, all voters will be confidential considering the pitch black of the night.
-Other than that, a normal mafia game, with reasonable deadlines, just a whole lot of darkness.

OR....

The GL Mafia Theme Tournament: A plan for a series of games
-A first game will be started to start a sort of tournament of previous themes of mafia games, each taking either the mafia or town side.
-The theme of the winning side moves on to another round.
-More of a series of games which don't necessarily happen consecutively but it's a plan for the future.

OR...

Triple Decker Mafia: HIGHLY Ambitious
-Concept: The game starts out with three towns. However, only the entire set of players and each town will be as balanced as possible, towns or mafia may or may not be distributed in equal amounts.
-Each town lives on a separate 'island' (thread) and may not view each other's progress.
-Each town can choose to 'deport' someone on their town and send them to 'Lynch Island' or to 'not deport' and wait for night.
-Regardless, only every three people deported will be going to 'Lynch Island'. There the players must deliberate in a limited amount of time on who to lynch, the role of the lynched person will only be revealed to the two survivors.
-The other two will then travel back to their own towns (maybe) and get back to the game.
-Anyone sent to 'Lynch Island' will have immunity from the night kill that night.
-Roles will be based on regular inhabitants of the island.
-Games for any island will not automatically stop if mafia is lynched or mafia have the same number as town, so the towns must decide for themselves whether or not they should stop deporting.
-Any Town whittled down to three or less players will receive the option to vote on whether or not they want to dissolve as a town and move to the other town(s).
-Mafia: Conferences as a total group. When killing, must have at least one representative on the same island as their target.
-Win conditions work only when all players are on the same town.
-Admittedly, three towns would be hard, but maybe, just maybe...

So, you can vote for your favorite idea (if you have one) and I'll probably go with the most liked. If there is any. I'll be seeing you when my plate is less full.

Peace. Extreme Delectation
