I was serious that the messiah was a role I wrote up when I was making up roles, and that I did not use it in this game. Please don't try to infer anything more from it. I really did not mean it as a clue to anything at all, I was just showing off my creativity. (Or lack thereof, if you thought the role was stupid.) |

Hm, it might be some weird sort of jester? Or maybe claim-miller.  Or he's just messing with us... at the moment I guess I think it should be considered a null-tell. We can probably get information from it though, warped as that information might be... for example who does he think are the other mafia members? |

oddly enough I think Raekuuls action have spurred the town into indecision. My guess he wins with the mafia "and" they get some sort of ability if he is lynched day 1. I am a little suspicious of MNO from his weirdness comment. seems he is trying to lurk without actually lurking. In my expirience it is better to lynch the scum under the radar than the one jumping up and down shouting "LYNCH ME!"

You put him up on the gallows, and he, being a very tough guy, takes it all very stoically. The only break from his quiet determination is a quick, rueful glance towards the person manning the phone which connects directly to the governor's office. Unfortunately, the call never comes.
The hangman's noose hits his head with a resounding crack, but it fails to break his neck. In fact, it takes hours for the life finally to drain out of this poor man. He really was a tough guy.
Just as the life seeps out of him, a call finally comes from the governor, who, it seems, was, umm, hiking the Appalachian Trail. The call is put on speaker phone, and you all hear the truth from the slightly-too-late governor.

Morning dawns. It's a new day, full of new possibilities.
This being Mafialand, everyone looks first for a body. They are not disappointed -- in fact, it looks as if there are two bodies! However, closer examination reveals that one of the two is only a mannequin, and it has been well and truly bashed by a painting of some sort. In further examination, it turns out that the instrument of mannequincide was, in fact, a genuine Picasso!
The other body, however, is that of raekuul. When the investigation team checks the body, they find this note on him:

Huh...so....good news: someone killed a mafia (I think), and we have a cop still alive somewhere. Bad news: the person who killed raekuul is not of confirmed allegiance (hopefully town, but could be 3rd party?). good news again: someone stopped the mafia kill (I think, unless the mafia didn't try to kill nobody [I doubt it] and a 3rd party or town tried using a picasso on somebodies).

For such a small game, this is an interesting turn of events.... and a positive one.
We should only have one mafia left in the town (two plus this raekuul role would be ridiculously overpowered).
Not sure what to make of the Picasso lines.

Personally I stand by Undercover Monk's hammer being scummy. I was on that wagon from the beginning, it was very close to my heart, and it pains me to see it turned into such a monster.
Obviously if anyone has any incriminating investigative info we could use that to find the last scum (there is only one, yes?). But unhelpful investigative info should obviously stay quiet (stating the obvious here.)
So, I'm thinking Undercover Monk. |

definition of unhelpful information= milkshakes last post.
How was my hammer scummy. I started that wagon with my FOS post. even if I didn't vote on it it was my original idea. So you are the one that made it a bandwagon. On day 1 very few lynches are based on anything but guess work. MNO was playing odd as was raekuul. I thought MNO was more suspicious, so I gave my two cents. Remember I can't lynch someone by myself so you are as guilty, if not more guilty, than me.
coming right out of the gate and attacking the hammer is usually a scumtell early in the game. So I'm gonna vote: Milkshake
P.S. not an all out revenge vote. I want to hear what you have to say. We don't need a quick day 2 when we already have one scum.
