If you have both an Excalibur and a Name, pair up with someone who has neither.

If you have one or the other, but not both, carry on with whatever you were planning.

If you happen to have two of the same item (name, excalibur, first item), then carry on with whatever you were planning.

Also, someone pass Duke Gnome a sword of some sort.

Actually, I only answer to one name; I've been through the desert on a horse with no name, which is why I've always kept an extra name handy, so the horse can have a name. (I've also been through the desert on a horse with no mane, and there ain't nobody there to give you Rogaine.)

But in the desert, you can't remember your name, cuz there ain't no one for to give you no pain.

(La, la, lala la-la, lala la, la, la.)

Are we trying to win together in this game or seperate or do we not even know that?

My logic as well. I have an excalibur, but with only coconuts left without it I really don't wanna donate it unless I can get something for my bonus coconut from one of you knights.

milkshake, given that one of the rewards for this quest is a How to Win This Game reward, I think someone will eventually find out...

Just to clarify, in case anyone is confused, I only need two items, both of which can be either a name or a sword.

Uh, so it seems that milkshake and UM have donated already, and thus we meet the objective? So there will be no dire punishments this round?
Is there any worth in me volunteering one of my items for donation then, or is it safer to maybe use them in another round?

That depends entirely upon the rewards and upon what basis they are handed out. Which you don't know, because you have nothing to tell you...

A must horrifying conundrum.

Ah, I see. The key wording in this case is "At least two".
So it is still theoretically possible for all the other Name and Excalibur holders to surrender their relevant objects in the hope that some sort of reward may be forthcoming.

But without any idea of how many rewards there may theoretically be (although four would plausibly seem to be right out), then those other Knights may get nothing.

This is a silly game. Oh... wait...

I think I'll donate Excalibur then, reasoning being if it's a bad thing to do then it doesn't matter, I may have had a bad outcome from not donating, while it may be that I get a reward. (On the other hand, the reward may come for those knights - or peasa... uh people who have more than two and not as many as four items... Oh, Jiminy Was this game invented in Camelot?)

Indeed, there should be much more singing and dancing, and there will be!...as soon as the knights make it to Camelot. And then we shall engage in much silliness. For instance, where do Egyptian housewives park when they go to the grocery store? I came up with that right here. That's what sort of a person you've let your fates get entwined with. Don't you all groan at the same time now.

The next quest!

The knights were emboldened by their find, thinking that they had accomplished their goal of obtaining the Holy Grail long before the intended moment in the script (if such a moment could be said to exist, police notwithstanding). But as the valiant men of Camelot began their trek home, they came afoul of a most foul city: Sell 'Em. The entire town was overrun by sorcerous real estate agents, who would sell a tract of land out from underneath your home (literally). The city was in such a state of fear, that the real estate agents were being persecuted, some people accusing innocents of the crime. Oh, the hanging yards were gruesome, what with the number of foreclosures on human life.

Quest 2: She's a Realtor!
Objective: At least two players must give their Mostly Fair Scales to another player.
Dire Punishments: Sometimes it's not a good idea to tell you everything.
There are both mundane and Holy Grail rewards for this quest. There is also a HWTG reward. One of the mundane rewards does include a Tract of Land. Of course, I'm not telling you how you will win it. Didn't I just say I wasn't going to tell you everything?

The wicked realtor pleads for her life. She attempts to entice you with her...great deals. that she moonlights as a used coca salesman, which sounds quite fruity indeed. She'll get you a nice trade-in on that old set of coconuts that you've been carrying around. Err...riding?

Deal
If you choose not to deal with the objective, you may instead exchange your Halved Coconut for a Migratory Coconut before the Quest is completed (on Tuesday next).

Remember, all official transactions are via PM. Of course, you can say whatever you want wherever else. Well, not whatever you want. Somethings you can't say here at all. And there will be absolutely no singing.

As I was unable to do anything for the first quest, I'm happy to donate my Mostly Fair Scales to another player...

Who wants them and why should I give them to you? PMs or public posts are fine.

Question on the rules (There are rules?)
Is it possible for a player to voluntarily give an item to another player, or mutually exchange items?

Oh, shoot, I forgot to tell everyone what the Possibly Another Quest is...
During any round, you may accomplish (turn in) your PAQ. If you do, you may at the same time choose one reward of a non-Holy nature...in other words, you may (for instance this round) turn in the PAQ to guarantee that you receive the HWTG reward or the mundane reward. If ever there are other rewards, you can get those too. But you may NOT use it to get the Holy Grail.

Of course, this is a one-time use, and no you don't get to know what sort of reward it is ahead of time...unless of course I tell everyone when the quest is announced. Or you know by some other nefarious means. Ahhh, the chaos. The PAQ is still an item just like any other, so it can be traded, lost, leveraged, oppressed, and donated.

As for the trading of items and all of that, if you are "giving" someone something, say so in your PM. If you are trading something, say what the trade is for. These are some of the only things I can enforce. If both parties do not PM the same trade, I will let both of them know. If you are donating something to another player, please let them know, as I won't update inventories until Tuesday (though trades ARE instantaneous).

So, is there anything I can do this round, me without a set of mostly fair scales or a halved coconut?

Anyone want to give me some scales, that I can then give straight back? (Would that option even count as accomplishing the objective - one donation from the first player, the second donation being back to the first from me?)

Logic was never their strong point. It was a magic that far exceeded their abilities. But the knights were brave in the face of their ignorance, and willing to sacrifice as many real estate agents as was needed to make their scales come out even. Two of the knights carefully employed their coconuts to smuggle a wicked realtor out of Sell 'Em.

Of course, Sir Robin was not present during the festivities. He and his minstrels were busy in the tavern drinking...er, gathering information. If someone would roll the dice, I could find out if they're drunk yet. Someone had parked the knights Trusty Steed (the only one they had) by the Used Horse lot, and he had a hard time convincing customers that he was already employed. Then a well-endowed woman with significant tracts of lands offered to throw in a nice parcel of land...
