According to /usr/share/dict/words, before you guessed FLOPS, there were two legal words for DF. (Though there were 400+ general five-letter sets.) If you'd been a vocabulary ninja, you'd have been able to win or tie. OTOH, dictionary gets your word down to 1 possibility after WIDTH, and even the general rule has it down to 1 pattern after GLEAM.

yeah but no dictionaries allowed :sigh: I needed a few more letters like I said word games not my strong suit. Logic yes spelling no. Oh well.
