First thought that the variety of pokemon would put this way above the other selections, but I can't say I'm a fan, and they're cartoon shallow, so I looked at the other details with an open mind.
It didn't take long to dismiss gargoyles and brainslugs, but I did read with interest about the history of the Haruchai. I vaguely remember the Thomas Covenant Chronicles as promising rather better than it delivered, and I had forgotten completely about the Haruchai. With flaws on both sides, I think I'd say that there is potentially more "interest" to be found in the Haruchai though. |
