Pokemon encapsulates a huge variety of creatures. This definitely makes them more 'Interesting'.

Also: how do they fit in those balls?! Though I suppose that makes the pokeballs more interesting.

yeah, i filled out the brackets like i thought it would usually go, and honestly I came up with pokemon every time. They'll probably lose before the final round, but really they are more "interesting" than a lot of other entries. More facile, certainly, but interesting none-the-less.

Abstain. In their original conceptions, neither were particularly interesting. Frankly, I find their pop-culture incarnations to be really annoying. (give me Jar Jar Binks and Ben 10 any day)

I agree, although they are "cartoon shallow". In their heat I stopped to consider, and found what I felt to be a better candidate - but head to head here, not much of a contest.

I *also* agree, but I was forced to vote against them on the grounds that I find it difficult to call them a single species.
