In the near future (April 16-19) I will be traveling from Dallas Texas to Salt Lake City Utah.

Any suggestions for good things to see along the way?

Any GLers along the way who would enjoy a hyVisit? [=

Oh. I will be driving.
My GF bought a car in Dallas, and we're going to pick it up and drive it back home. I think we'll leave Texas on the 18'th, stop somewhere along the way to sleep for the night, and then do the second leg of the trip on the 19'th.

After that, there's nothing we can offer that is a better offer.

I strongly recommend Zion National Park in Utah, which should be somewhat along the way.

You could go less out of your way and come see me. But I don't do bellydancing.

(Also, I'm driving to Lafayette and then Florida on Thursday/Friday. So maybe it wouldn't be less out of your way to see me. But I'm passing quite close to Sessie.)

Zion National Park is very much worth stopping at, however, Ali and I live in Utah, so we visit there irregularly anyway--in fact, we're going to be in Arche's National Park for memorial day weekend.

Too bad you're leaving mithy. We could totally meet up at steak and shake and set cockroaches free or something. =(

Sessie, unless you've moved from where I last have you pinned, I don't see the road trip heading that far off course. Unless the bellydancing is on the table of course. Wink

I'm about an hour north of New Orleans, so yeah, pretty much the opposite direction from where you're going. Although I am always looking for an excuse to do some shimmying... Enthusiastic Grin Smack dab in mith's path though...we could have dinner or something, no?

Maybe so... I'll definitely pass by you on the way, but it will be Friday morning, and I haven't actually figured out how I'm coming back after I drop Michelle in Mobile (she's flying so she doesn't miss school). But if I come back the same way, dinner Sunday night maybe?

If you do, the Angel's Landing hike is a must.
