Fraternity Mafia

Hi guys,

I am the creator of a brand new Mafia-only site that you can find here at www.mafiamaniac.ipbfree.com

But instead of just sneaking in and inviting you to my site, I think I should try and host a game here.

The game is Fraternity Mafia. It has 4 Mafiosos (In this game the cops), 9 Townspeople (In this game the fraternitys) and one Independent (The hot sorority girls )

On my site most games post the roles for everyone to see but I'm not sure that is done here. Either way I'd love some feedback and some sign-ups if that is possible. Also feel free to check out my site above where you can see the game thread of the last game that was on my site.

Generally to get sign ups, you need to have played quite a bit on here. We have been stung too many times by letter an inexperienced mod who hasnt played enough run games. Im not saying you are inexperienced - heck you are advertising a new mafia site - but we just dont know you - or if you will stick around.

The other issue is, that this website isnt a haven for mafia much any more. The games have really lost steam and hardly seem to run. Even if people give you the chance, you probably wont get enough sign ups to run the game.

Good luck anyway, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I think you would be much better placed to go to http://mafiascum.net/forum/ which is a sister site to this one - growing from one of our own members starting their own site. You won't be able to mod on there, as there is a controlled moderation queue.

I will give you some feedback, though. Unless your townspeople have some significant powers, that is too high a mafia ratio. But since the mafia kills are, I assume, just arrests of frat-boys, perhaps they then can get bailed out. This could backfire, as well, because the mafia/cops will just arrest one of their own, first, knowing the frat boys will bail him out. (But the frat boys will know that they might do that, so maybe they won't. And on the other, other hand ...)

Don't bother. Mafia is dead on this forum. People moved over to mafiascum. If you check the one game that's 'active' now, you'll see that it started in January and I think it's in night 3 now. We reached a deadline (after an extension) Sunday with a 1-1 votecount, after a cop revealed his results.

Ahh I see. I knew about MafiaScum but I thought it was a bit disorganized. If you guys are all over there then I guess there is no point trying to start this here.

Hope you guys give my site a chance.

You see man? you did it all wrong! first you should have started here, and said

"man this place is cool and laid back, but there aren't enough games running!"

then one of us would have said go to MafiaScum, and you would have been like

"Man! look at all the games, but they are so disorganized, i should make a new website!"

THEN you make the site and promote on GL and MS.

See I kinda had a journey similar to that only on 2 different sites. I'm promoting at those 2 places now and am trying to expand. It's not that I did it wrong I just found this place too late.

If you guys do think Mafiascum is too disorganized you know where to go
