Eight Death Eaters gathered at the appointed spot. As they gathered, they mumbled with themselves.
"Do you know what's going on?"
"No, I was hoping you would. Which one of us are you, anyway?"
A high, sibilant voice cut through the crowd. "Do not answer that question. We have a spy." Voldemort stepped into the middle of the crowd. "And because Potter keeps intruding on my mind, I can't seem to get my legilimency working. This may be more entertaining, anyway."
Several of the death eaters looked confused at that. "What do you mean by 'more entertaining', my lord?"
Voldemort gave one of his smiles, the kind that cause puppies to die and couples to divorce. "I have heard of a muggle game, called 'Werewolf', in which the players try to deduce who the undesireables are. Much like us against Dumbledore's fools, it places an uninformed majority against an informed minority. Seven of you are loyal to me, and one of you is a spy. As much as I hate to rely on others, with my legilimancy not working properly, I will need your assistance removing the spy."

Yes, it will be possible to kill Voldemort. Not that he'll stay dead if you do, but he will be out of the game all the same. The goal of the game is to find and eliminate any and all spies.

Zag, you have to stop this vendetta. Chaz is part of the reason we won the last game. Of course, he could have totally fucked it up, so maybe you can be a little upset with him.
Is Amb not playing? Just because he's getting married is no reason to not play. What else does he think he's going to do on the honeymoon?

actually I am completely fine with a day 1 Chaz lynch. last game I was afraid to lynch him early cause of his perfect calls in depp mafia. But he was horrible in sopranos mafia. So yay four votes on one person this quick will make this a fun game. BTW I hate my rolename with a passion Raekuul. I can't believe you included him in a game this SMALL!!!!!!!! GRRRRR!
pardon my outburst just spent 2 hours on accounting homework and needed to vent some steam. Vote: Chaz _________________ The Classic Blunders:

Monk, are you seriously using that flimsy logic to put Chaz at L-1? Plus, we are so early in the day. We need some conversation or we will never catch the scum. That's just bad play. _________________ Paragon Tally: 19 mafia, 3 SKs (1 twice), 1 cultist, numerous chat scum...and counting. |

Does anyone know anything about the "Werewolf" variant? I read the wiki, but it said the Werewolf might just be like the mafia or it could be similar to the cult. With only one person as scum right now, I'm guessing the latter. This could be difficult.
Even more reason why we shouldn't rush a day 1 lynch. _________________ Paragon Tally: 19 mafia, 3 SKs (1 twice), 1 cultist, numerous chat scum...and counting. |

Already at L-1, and we have confirmation that not all players have even read their role messages yet. Wouldn't it be funny if Chaz got lynched before the Spy even posted? Well, funny for me, not so much for Chaz...

Zag and I have played three games together.
In two of those games, he accused me of playing differently than I had in previous games. Both times, he was a townie (well, a cop in one of the games.)
In the third game, he was mafia.
This will be our fourth game, and he has not accused me of acting differently.

That logic is not flimsy, at least not for day 1. Chaz's play very nearly cost us the game last time. I would rather lynch him or MNOWAX over a logical thinker like you or Sentran on day 1. Actually by putting him at L-1 I have set a nice piece of bait for our spies. If they take the bait we have a good suspect and lose at best a loose cannon. If they dont we can hypothisize is Chaz really scum and his scumbuddy (I doubt in a game this small there are more than 2) is refusing to vote him. Or are both scum already voting. Whenever the vote switching begins we will be getting a ton of info. as opposed to two small bandwagons we have reduced the variables to one giant bandwagon. Savvy.
My day 1 philosiphy
-dont lynch someone who got lynched day 1 last game
-lynch an inexpirienced or poor player
-lynch scummy player if there is enough evidence
Now the skills of any GL member is subjective but I feel Chaz is the lowest risk lynch right now with MNOWAX a close second. _________________ The Classic Blunders:

You're insanely stupid for a "logical" person.
Your logic suggests that you just lynch a poor player as quickly as possible.
1. It fails to give poor players a chance to improve their playing ability.
2. It's completely subjective.
3. It doesn't encourage conversation, which is the only thing that can be analyzed later.
I stick with my previous, apparently illogical, conclusion. A quick lynch on day one is only ever in the best interest of mafia. _________________ The enemy's base is down. |
