This sounds like one of two characters. One would be Lucius Malfoy, arrogant to the extree and not very polite. If so, I would doubt that Chaz is the spy. The other, however, is Severus Snape, who I very well believe would be the spy.

Let's just be clear that the mod said there is only one spy at present. My post about the setup was inquiring if this will grow. Wink Stay focused, Monk.

Snik, he's already at L-1, so please pay better attention. You could have ended day right there.

Having not seen her writing and play style before, I figured those could be in character for the player. Also, she's new at this. Still, your observation has been noted.

Speculation about the set-up...

There is one spy now. Perhaps said spy has a choice of recruiting or killing each night. Perhaps he can do both. Or maybe he just submits a target and if it's a pre-selected person (who may or may not be aware of it), he's recruited. If not one of those he dies.

No matter what, if we choose correctly today, I think the game is over. I siriusly doubt that will happen.

Perhaps the Dark Lord didn't make it clear when he asked you to shut your mouth the first time. I'm certain he does not want us speculating on who might be whom, but perhaps you'd like to enlighten us as to why you're a better judge of these things than He is.

I do find it interesting that MNO, Sentran, and Zag were so quick to launch false accusations against me. I've noticed that the traitors are quick to throw around accusations, especially if they think there's a chance it will catch. I'm happy with my vote.

Heh. Siriusly. Ecstatic Happiness I didn't even catch that.

unvote. vote equestrian for saying untruths. In fact, it's quite the opposite. In post 25, Q said that D1 should NOT end so quickly. In post 46, he said nothing about it, but could have ended the day if he wanted to. This smells to me like a newbie trying to spread unjustified animosity, not realizing how obsessively some of us re-read the thread. Or maybe she just misread his post. Extreme Delectation

FOS Chaz for being suspicious of what was obviously a joke. Of course, I suspected him once before for the same reason and was wrong.

FOS Undercover Monk for pushing the obvious joke to L-1, which makes it less funny. (Though I do have to admit that a really quick lynch of Chaz would carry a certain humor value -- for me especially.)

Are there not plenty of options for fake claims? I think most of us know about Severus. Additionally, who says the mod is following the books exactly? (I remember some vague insinuations, but I'm not willing to build a whole case around that.) Also, I generally credit mods for being too clever to allow mass claims to work. Based on that (and considering my general policy), I think that's a bad idea.

Quailman wrote:

Considering Chaz' aim from last game, I figure being on his radar makes me almost decidedly innocent.
Note that I did not ask for a mass claim, I simply suggested that a mass claim COULD end the game very quickly. It was an offhand comment, not a request. A subtle, but extremely important, distinction. It assumes far too much, such as the moderator sticking to canon and not taking artistic license with the source material. However, if you desire to kill off one who has proven time and again his loyalty to our Dark Lord, just to appease the foolish ramblings of Chaz, so be it. I do not fear death in servitude to our Master.

Notice his subtle [clip] of my question as to what his theory is.

Notice how he ignores Zag's comment (which wasn't far removed from mine own.)

The Dark Lord has never questioned my faithfulness, because I've never given Him reason to do so. My loyalty is more pure than my blood, and my blood is more pure than his loyalty.

[outofrole]Actually, this role playing is a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I'm glad Zag got me started on it (in post 5).[/outofrole]

Simply put, as was also true in the books, my theory is that Severus Snape is the obvious spy. If your mudblooded brain can not grasp so simple a concept, what are you doing in our Dark Lord's service?
Of course I ignored Zag's comment. Why should I waste my energy defending the same point twice, when there's work to be done?

You ignored his post and pointed to mine--even though he posted first. You clearly have decided to cast suspicion in the direction of a loyal supporter no matter the evidence presented.

Are you honestly suggesting that we follow the lead of a muggle's childrens stories? If that's not a muggle-loving slip, then I'm cannot guess what might be considered so.

Sneakoscope says: Sentran's blood is as murky as his arguments.

Murky. What an interesting word coming from you. Claim or not, I have no care, but please lynch Chaz and have done with him. His only arguments thus far have been that nobody should question his loyalty, then points out everything that everyone else says (or he imagines they say) as a tell. He is avoiding questions by casting aspersions where they are not warranted. Read back thruogh his posts.

What questions am I avoiding? I'm not being exact with my words, because I'm having fun with the role playing, but I haven't avoided any questions. Razz

I've also made arguments for why "lynch the poor/new players" is a short-sighted strategy. I've linked you, Zag and MNO together (I mean that I've said that I think you three are linked, and not that I had some "brilliant" thought that you might be linked up--since it's an obvious and likely incorrect thought anyway.)

I've suggested that Quail knows more about the game then he should.

You've attacked me and demanded that I be killed because you don't like my play style. Repeatedly. Razz Oh. That's right, you did take time out to defend equestrian. Maybe you should read your posts, boy.
