Sentran, obviously Snik is going to die tonight; he's the only person MNO can safely target for night-kill, so it will just the you, me, and MNO tomorrow. (He can't target you because Snik might protect you) MNO knows that he can't night-kill me, so it will be him and me pointing fingers at each other tomorrow, and it will be up to you to decide.

You know that Voldemort is in the game, with the power I've already claimed. You know that he isn't you. You'll know when we wake up tomorrow and Snik is dead that it isn't he. And MNO has already claimed cop. Is he going to claim that he is a cop AND he is Voldemort who can't be killed at night?

I had assumed Zag's guilt because I figured the Cop's ability coincided with Voldemort's Legilimency coming back. After Zag's post, I can see how that would be too much power for one player, and I'm inclined to believe Zag.
There are 4 roles left; Draco Malfoy (me), Narcissa Malfoy (Snik), Lord Voldemort (Zag), and Harry Potter (MNO). It makes sense.

Did a quick re-read on the thread. MNOWAX is always a wild card player. He posts frequently, changes votes a lot, and generally comes across as insane. He has done none of those things this game. I'm convinced, he's the spy.

My only complaint about this game is how you guys take such credit for "nailing Chaz." It really was a vindictive bandwagon, then you justified it to stay there. It's seeing what you want to see sort of thing. The "scummy" things he did were understandable because there was so much pressure on him for no reason. If you had done that to him and he was town, I'm sure it would have turned out much the same. Anyway, I don't think it was some amazing feat of scumhunting.

Also, notice where I was correct: they didn't know each other and the other spy was on the wagon. So who actually nailed this game?

Good job wrapping it up, MNO and Sentran, especially Sentran. That was a tough spot to be in, even more so as a vanilla with no extra info. That's where I was last game and it sucks, but I think it shows you don't need power roles to win this game.

Zag, I had it figured back at the top of page 8. You threw me a bit when you beat MNOWAX to claim Voldemort, but I quickly came back to the thought that you were Potter. I decided to play a bit of a gambit by claiming that MNO was Potter, hoping that you'd leave me alive. Thank goodness it worked, and that I was right! *whew*

Well done, Sentran. You did have me convinced. The whole talking-at-night thing was something I hadn't really worked out the significance of.

While I really would have liked to win, I think I played that pretty well, in spite of a terribly unlucky start. Besides my partner getting lynched (ok, raekuul set me up for that, the rat), getting role-blocked on the first night was really a killer. I had figured that I would know who Voldy was by him suddenly attacking people, and maybe claiming. With two incorrect attacks the first two nights, I figured I could get him lynched the third with no problem.

I think this was probably the closest I've come to having a somewhat balanced game. I've already shown Chaz these old games I've run (thought he might get a laugh out of reading them)

I'm sure I don't need to remind half of you about Unbalanced Mafia (which was run right here on the GL, if I remember right), but there was also I Wanna Be The Mafia 7.9 and 10.9, both of which were (A) horridly unbalanced, and (B) won by the town.

Balancing a game with a lot of power roles is really hard, because the first day lynch can really mess it all up. The split doctor was clever, because there was no risk of lynching the doc on the first day. But imagine if we had lynched the role-blocker the first day, then my cop obfuscations would both have worked, and MNO would have become a huge liability to the town, not a help. It did work out pretty well, though, since it came right down to the end.

For what it's worth, I almost threw Zag under the bus. I was going to out him, flat out, when I received word who he was (because it wasn't made clear to me whether he was friend or foe.)

I decided to trust him a bit, and give him a hint that I knew what his role was and how it worked, but he went a different direction and lynched me.

By the way, that is how I play a power role, I shut the fuck up and try not to get lynched! lol Nice one Sentran! I'm not sure how you knew, I didn't want to claim who i was until i absolutely had to, and I'm very glad that people picked up i was a cop.

I seriously spent a lot of time at work the last couple of weeks so i wasn't as full on in this game as i usually am, but I managed to get Chaz lynched! (by the way my vote on you was truly a joke, I'm sorry it got you lynched, even though you were scum!)

bah! I was killed early but kept up with the game. As soon as Zag started insisting that the other spy had to be among those who did not vote for Chaz, i knew it had to be him. He didn't really care which one of those got lynched day two. How scummy, yet no one was willing to call him on it.

first off I didnt say that I lynched chaz for scummieness. I just said no scum would do that to a KNOWN partner. Good job raekuul neither I nor Jedo had any real idea what was going on.

A couple things about the set-up. I loved night posting I thought it actually addaed to the game alot. I also liked the specified roles for certain people but it only worked because we did not know you did it. putting Chaz and Zag on the same team was genius and would have been loads of fun if he hadnt died day 1. All in all one of the funnest and most frustrating games Ive played in a long time.

Seriously jedo I wanted to strangle you for awhile there. Anyway On to the next game.
