My lovely wife of 26 years (and Zahariel's mother) has made a lot of quilts over the years, and she is starting to win awards with them. I now have a good process for taking pictures of them, so I'll be updating my web site with all of them eventually. These pictures were a little rushed because it started to rain soon after I got it set up.
This quilt she made specifically for me. I have collected dragons since before we were married, and she has been tolerant enough to let me continue. She entered it in a quilt show recently. It won one of the three first prizes at the show and it won the "Viewer's Choice" award.

Beautiful work.
What are the overall dimensions of this quilt? |

| It's about 110 inches square -- big enough for a king sized bed. |

Here are images of another quilt by my lovely wife. This one was a (somewhat late) graduation present for my niece. The pattern is completely original by Maryann and I helped! (I made a spreadsheet for designing it. It's actually trickier than you think to make all the columns line up, but make sure there are no section breaks that line up. But I didn't do any of the actual work.)

Here's a preview:

And I've added photos of one more. I have a couple more to do, so expect more updates.

And the hits just keep on coming!
These are actually the past years' worth of quilts. It's that I only just got around to photographing them all and putting up the pictures on my web site. This one was for my other nephew's graduation. (We had two nephews graduate last year, and my niece graduated two years before that, but it was the year my daughter got married, so she was overlooked for a bit.)

One hexagon must have come from the Archives!
I like the first graduation gift one the most. (The one with a wavy pattern) |
