To get on this list: Start a sign-up for your game, then post here. I'll put it on this list. This isn't a hard list of who should go when, but rather an easy reference guide on what is going on currently.

its not asking permission its more of a line to keep games moving at a fast pace so the Amb-sentran situation doesn't happen again. we dont have enough players to handle two games at once so we need to make sure we have a way to keep games running smoothly.

I will be adding my name to the list. I have been on a survivor kick for awhile and decided we needed a survivor themed mafia still working on the balance and I wont be starting it til I have less on my plate but just to wet your appetite everyone will have at least one one-shot ability based on actions of their castaway in the show.

I would like to add my name to the list to mod. I have a theme already for the game but I have not quite begun design phase on it except my basic ideas that influenced the game.

My game will be based off the television series "V".

I will probably be using the new series not the old series as a basis. I have been fully obsessed with the new series since it has come out and have not went back to watch the old V in case it gave away too much information / spoilers of what was to come in the new one.

Oh, I didn't realize that the new series had started, yet. It isn't on 'On Demand' so I haven't seen it, but I'll look for it on Hulu. Maybe I'll set my DVR to record it. (I don't watch anything live -- that makes me crazy.)

Yes Zag, there are two seasons so far. The season just had it's finale the Tuesday before last. Unfortunately have heard rumors they may not have a third, but that would be sad and unfair. It's competing against American Idol on Tuesday nights so although it has a huge following, the time slot is making the ratings not look as good.

I am glad there's already some interest Also I think the whole premise of the show would make for a good mafia game. I will have to plan this out well so I don't waste it. hehe

ABC allows streaming of the episodes and watchvonline.com let's you download them I think.

Another insane idea, brought to you by me, but with the unwitting assistance of Chaz. How about a true ADD Mafia? Not caffeinated, which would just be faster than normal, but true to Attention Deficit Disorder?
The setup would be a fairly standard mafia game, but with unannounced hard deadlines anywhere from 12 hours to 48 hours? At a predetermined but unannounced time, I would declare an end of day and the majority vote would swing.

Crazy Idea for a Mafia Game:

Blind Mafia

You have no idea what your role is when the game begins, but everyone is assigned one. Each night you make a choice guessing what your role is and pm that to the mod. I'd execute it if you were right.

The kicker? Whoever was the Vig would kill anyone whose name was mentioned in a post.

I believe I'm ready to try again after the V Mafia game. I will promise no Jesters, all semi-standard roles, and an environment that will make the game interesting (difficult) for all. It will not be a themed game, at least not exactly.

Id still love to see Shotgun mafia, where anyone who votes, immediately kills that person and night falls. Its a fast game

I have read all the books with LIML. Durryn and I watch the series together. I think it would be important to be clear if you were following the book or show in this one as there are some significant differences.
