The town begins to tremble and chaos breaks out, while an object is seen in the sky that no one had thought they would see in their lifetime. (Well..that is.. as long as you don't count that farmer outside of town who's claimed to see 2 UFOs just last month..).

A spacecraft is hovering above the town and suddenly, as if Broadcasting from a gigantic television, a beautiful woman appears covering the bottom of the ship.

"Hello, do no be afraid. We are of peace, always."

As soothing as the voice was and as beautiful as the leader appeared, she could not solace all. Some of the town was beginning to have their doubts as to whether these "Visitors" were peaceful. Maybe they were right...Soon a group who called themselves "The fifth column" emerged into the spotlight. Their goal is to eliminate the threat of the V's to the town.


Rules:

1.) The moderator of this game, Lucresia, makes the final decision on any and all disputes over game policy/abilities.
2.) Do not discuss this game with anyone outside of this game or in this game unless your pm states you are able to, and then only during the day or night phase indicated in the pm. This includes any pms from the mod.
3.) Do not quote directly from your pm.
4.) Do not edit your posts.
5.) All communication to the MOD should be in Bold (or I may miss it)
6.) All votes and unvotes should be in bold. Unvoting when placing a new vote is a courtesy, however not required. Unvoting should also be in bold.
7.) You may only vote for one person (must be alive) and cannot vote for the mod. A no lynch is an acceptable vote.
8.) In the case of a vote/no lynch tie on a deadline - It will be up to the mod to decide which will conquer.
9.) All discussion stops at the end of the day once The Mod posts that a decision has been reached. (Not necessarily upon death scene.) Votes however can no longer be changed.
10.) Do not play against your win condition and do not take anything personally. For all you know it might be part of their role...and have fun!
11.) If you are dead you are allowed one "bah" post, but do not add anything into the game that can affect the outcome. Besides that, if you are dead, no talking until after the game has ended.
12.) Moderator may amend rules as sees fit for clarification of rules.

I know that Quailman joined this game just so he can lynch me. He said so in the sign-up thread (I think that's where) when he thought I had killed him in the last game but it turned out that my ability had been blocked. In fact, when he said that, I knew that he was probably town, but I considered it unfair information to use since it was not part of the game. (A scum would not have been so outraged -- I know how I felt when I was a cop and Chaz outed me like an idiot.)

I even considered making use of this extra-game knowledge and leaving him alone, but he continued to attack me even though everything I said about him was true.

Anyway, what's Mafia without a nice feud going?

Agreed Ctorj, I played a few games over there and it just wasn't the same. Years ago it was more like the GL still is, now..it's different and yes way too serious :/

Clearly the mod agrees with Ctorj, and mods always want the scum to win, so therefore Ctorj must be scum.

But really, the one thing I dont want is a day 1 like the last game. It dragged on for way too long. So I dont really care if the bandwagons are serious or for inept reasons. Im just going to pile on. Unless its on me, in which case its truly inept.

What the hell are you talking about, Amb? This is my first post of the game.

Anyway, I'm a little bogged down this week since it's the last week of school. I procrastinated grading and I have to make final exams. Also, I'll be V/LA starting Wednesday, so just don't expect anything from me until next week.

With all of that said, I'm all for bandwagoning. I just don't know who has the most votes right now. I'll try to plop my vote down appropriately before I leave.
