I'm back, though I don't really have time for an in-depth thing now. Maybe in a couple hours or tomorrow afternoon.

If nobody is going to claim they blocked me last night, then I'm left with a couple conclusions: 1) There is a misdirector who used another person's power on me. 2) The person I targeted has some sort of immunity. I lean toward the person being scum if that's the case.

Here are my thoughts on my suspects:

- Sniklac has a very convenient claim, and I really don't like it. He's also being pretty shifty in regard to being forthcoming with the information, so I think he's probable scum.

-Quailman has an unfortunate claim. The character is minor and does seem unlikely to be in the game. Plus, I don't like the indefinite result on him. If anything, it makes me suspect him more than less.

-raekuul has the worst claim in the world. This claim can never be checked except through a death. He's nearer the top of my suspects, but his almost lynch gives me pause.

-itisally is difficult to read because the play doesn't really match the alignment. She has acted scum somewhat (could be n00b play), but she has a town claim (and a reasonable one at that). She's at the bottom of this list.

I'll try to give more later. Personally, I'm leaning toward Snik or Quail, but I'm really not solid.

Voting recap. Known scum are in bold. Known townies are italics -- This is people who are dead and we've been told by the mod. I believe there are several others whom we all are adequately sure of, but I haven't signified those.

Day 1, Bandwagon on Amb (known townie)
Ctorj, MNOWAX, Zag, itisally, Durryn, Sentran, Rubberduck, (unvote)RubberDuck, (unvote)Zag, bandwagon collapses

Day 1, Lynch of Durryn (known scum)
Sniklac16, RubberDuck, Zag, Amb, Silverfire, Ctorj, MNOWAX, Quailman (itisally tries to add an extra vote, and claims she didn't understand about all votes and unvotes being ignored after a majority is reached.)

No night kill

Day 2: Minor bandwagon on itisally
Sentran, Zag, Amb, Sniklac16, (unvote)Snick, (unvote)Sentran, Quailman, Sentran

Day 2 ends with a bliss (presumably)

Night 2, Silverfire night-killed

Day 3: Lynch of Ctorj (known townie)
Sniklac16, RubberDuck, MNOWAX, Jedo the Jedi, Quailman, Amb, raekuul

Night 3: Amb night-killed

Day 4: MNO voted confidently for Jedo, even after the other known innocents were pretty sure of him. Then it turned ugly for RubberDuck
Jedo the Jedi, and Sentran voted for him, with Jedo leading and claiming no doubt at all. I said I was about to add on and just wanted a response from him (which was unlikely to matter). MNO then joined the bandwagon, and then Sentran day-vig'ed him

Day 5: L-1 bandwagon on raekuul
itisally, MNOWAX, Quailman, Sniklac16

------------
Observations:
Lynches of both Durryn and Ctorj started "Sniklac16, RubberDuck" This actually brings my suspicion level of Sniklac down a little, unless RubberDuck is just clueless. Also, I suspect that one of them would have found a reason to unvote for Durryn if they both were scum. This only means that he goes from my clear top suspect back to being in the pack with Quailman, and itisally.

The speed of the bandwagon on raekuul with NONE of the obviously cleared people voting for him is very suspicious, and tends to clear him in my eyes. Unless he is the last scum left (unlikely), then we know that there is scum voting for him, now. I think it is a bit late for them to be bussing their own unnecessarily.

If I had to pick one right now, I'd say Quailman. His Day 1 hammer of Durryn doesn't convince me of his innocence, and his votes on itisally, Ctorj, and raekuul all look suspicious.

----------
I have another fear. I've had this from the beginning, but I think its finally time to say it. To be true to the show, there have to be a fair number of changes of alignment. Due to the nature of the game, the only direction one can actually change is town to scum. I'm worried that one of the scum has an option to recruit if they forgo their night kill.

I know that the way Amb's mason recruiting worked, he had to choose players, and if they were on the list of ones he was able to recruit, then they'd be offered a choice. I was told I was being recruited into a mason organization and that I would lose my night ability if I accepted. Since I didn't think much of the ability, I accepted.

Assuming the scum do have such a thing, there are a couple of roles who could possibly be recruitable, based on my knowledge of the show. The most concerning of these is Chad Decker, which makes me a little worried about LIML, and could possibly be the reason she produced no results last night. On the other hand, I think that the reason I originally wasn't allowed to claim was to keep recruiting from being too easy. My point is that I do not think that this has happened, I only fear that it has happened.

LIML, to help allay these fears, I think you should tell us in advance whom you are going to report on, tonight. I don't see any serious downside to you telling us in advance, and this will also help us if you are night-killed; we'll still be able to draw conclusions from your final report.

Extreme Delectation I have had little opportunity to tell you who I am going to go after the way the last two nights have happened, but I will take it under consideration. If I am honest I see it as a way for scum to know the right moment to kill me, and I wonder at your suggesting it given that, but there you go. My next target is Sniklac. I find Quailman and Rea the most skevvy. Snik is way quieter than usual, maybe riding on the high he got when the town lynched a town even when all the clues were so obvious as to be a big flashing arrow. In the end though... Rea hammered, that is why I have decided to vote him. We were worried previously that he might get hammered before Jedo got back but now he is back.

VOTE REAKUUL

This is a moot point. Anna is still out there, and until we get her, all "possible" other scenarios should take a back burner. Anna is the GF, and the most likely candidate to be protected from investigations. Considering the results of the news report, I'm going back to Vote: Quailman.

Thanks LIML. I want to repeat that I really doubt such a scenario; I only fear it. I still consider you to be 'cleared' unless there is some more significant evidence than one of your reports seeming to be contentless.

By the way, based on my knowledge of the show, I also would have put Tylor Evans (that is, me) in the category of "risk of being recruited." (In fact, the dumbass WAS recruited, and didn't know any better until the final episode when he gets eaten immediately after mating with the new daughter that he thought was Lisa. He had, I'm sure, several painful seconds after his "townie" conversion.) I'm pretty sure that my recruitment by Amb protects me from being recruited by the scum. Anyway, I haven't been approached since Amb recruited me.

I agree with Sentran. I had forgotten about the lack of report on Q when I said that I found him slightly more suspicious than the rest of the pack. Including that info, I find him significantly more, enough to vote: Quailman.

Well lets see if we can squeeze some in before night falls. I think we must have Amy left also because Anna's bliss only works on V and we were all effected by the early end of day. So I think we still have 2 left to find

I wasn't convinced about Quailman I am now. I think the rush to lynch is pretty scummy because Sentran and Zag were pretty consistant in thier focus on Quailman, not to the point of exculusion though.

You know what? Raekuul was blocked and there was no death last night. As a townie, I saw someone with four votes who seemed the scummiest to me. Suddenly, Zag (who I don't see as cleared at all, BTW)and Sentran cast votes for me. Even though I thought Snik was also pretty scummy-looking, I had to defend myself, and voting was the easiest way. Four people, including you, itisally, already had voted for raekuul, so they agreed with me that raekuul having been blocked, along with his lame claim, were incriminating enough to deserve a vote.

If we are still looking for a scum after tonight, I'm guessing Snik and Zag as the most likely. If the news report of this morning made me look innocent, remember - sometimes innocent means innocent.

If need be, you can clear me tonight by blocking me.

If Sentran is to be belived then blocking Anna may not help.

Just because I think they are right about you dosen't mean I found Reakuul less scummy than before. I left my vote because I wanted to go for what I thought was a sure thing.

And an easy way to stop others from convicing those of us on Reakuul; to switch to you, Quailman, is to rush a lynch. That dosen't make it the BEST way to defend yourself.

Roleblocker. Block whoever you think you need to.

What Sentran says makes me think he's planting seeds of paranoia to turn us against each other. Any sign of a person's innocence becomes an indicator of their guilt.

Let's just be clear, Sentran and Zag are both innocent. Unless some side changing has happened (which I doubt), they should be trusted.

I think rae was a good choice. Now we can have a flip and analyze some more allegiances.

I'm going to bring to the fore again: I was blocked last night in some way. For the record, it was Snik I targeted. Either somebody is not confessing to blocking me (which means scum did it), or Snik has some power he hasn't shared. (Or there's a redirector, but nobody has even come close to confessing that.) This should be a major priority because town is severely hampered when that happens.

I just took another look at today's opening post.

Lucresia wrote:
"Hi Chad Decker here, reporting. Sometimes no news is good news. No disappearances last night and everyone seems to be able to sleep easy. We can only pray that the disappearances will end for good. With all the disappearances the best advice we can provide to cope with these tragedies is to embrace your feelings and do good with them."

I still don't see how someone could turn that into "Quailman must be scum because the news is good. In fact Mr. Decker used the word "good" three (3) times. The night he reported on me he said "everyone seems to be able to sleep easy."

LIML said that maybe her result is good because I'm a GF. Zag says "Thanks for the update, LIML. I agree that the news report seems to have that upbeat surface with an ominous overtone that could be hinting at Anna." The Snik votes for me "Based on what was said by LIMl..." He later changed to raekuul by saying with conviction, "I guess Ill go ahead and unvote vote raekuul. Heres hoping hes scum."

I did not know that Jedo had targetted Snik without getting a result. Perhaps that's the immune GF-type we should be looking for.

Until this one, the reports have all been two paragraphs, one about the night-kill or lack thereof and one based on LIML's choice. The fact that there was only one paragraph this time is what gives the thought of a Godfather. I agree that my earlier interpretation was me trying to hard to find meaning in it. I think that the meaning in it is that there wasn't a paragraph about you.

(Or, as I've speculated, it could be that LIML has lost her power. I really doubt it though.)

Final Vote Count - Day 5
5 raekuul (itisally, MNOWAX, Sniklac16, Lifeinmomland, Quailman)
1 Quailman (Sentran, Zag)

Not voting: Jedo the Jedi, raekuul

A lynch has been reached.

The town, exasperated and ready to get to night time (for what they hope will be a good night's sleep) finds raekuul and drags him to the center of town for a lynch. As raekuul, AKA Amy, Hybrid Visitor/Human (Mafia) is dragged to the courtyard, her true visitor side emerges and she attempts to kill the town in protection of herself. Thankfully the town was prepared and was able to push a suicide pill they found on Rubberduck's body yesterday down his throat.

raekuul, AKA Amy, Hybrid Visitor/Human (Mafia) is now dead. It is now night 5, Choices ASAP Please

"Hello, Chad Decker here, always first on the scene with any news on the V's! Today we are here to discuss the gift from the visitors they are bestowing upon us tonight. It's called red rain. They have provided this to allow for better health of our crops and richer soil. It will help relieve droughts and provide safer and healthier food for all. A magnificent act of science and generosity from the visitors."

Wait a second, I am getting breaking news - just in! we have words of a murder on the mothership. Anna has released that her own mother has been killed by someone onboard.

"She was always such a strong willed woman. She only wanted the best for humans and visitors alike." sobs Anna.

"Sources say that it was a human onboard that found and killed her mother. With all the gifts the visitors have provided us, we have to wonder who would take such a harsh initiative..."

<walking off smirking to herself, Anna feels a strong pride and happiness as she walks away from the cameras...Anna can feel herself stronger and more powerful with her mother gone...>

Quailman, AKA Diana, Rightful Visitor Queen/Fifth Column/Town, has been shot and killed.

It is now Day 6. With 7 alive, it's 4 to Lynch!

That last bit sounds ominous and sucks if it is actually true.

Unfortunately, Quail was my choice last night. Dispirited I begin to think coming out in the open this early was stupid. My usefulness has gone down the drain.

Here's something I want to see happen (if it hasn't already and I overlooked it): I want Ally to claim all of her night choices. After that, I would like everybody else who has already claimed to declare their night choices/results to this point. If somebody else thinks there is an important order for this, then put it forward and we can discuss it. I will go last. From there, we can discuss what to do with those who have not claimed.

Any objections?

Perhaps you haven't seen the show, but the red rain was called down by Anna and was very bad news for the humans. It was basically the V's preparation for the breeding program. Unless LIML changed her mind on whom to target, this news report is clear indication of scum, almost certainly Anna.

vote: Sniklac

Yesterday, I was torn between Quail and Snik, and I was pretty convinced that Quail's hammer was just bussing. (My only doubts about him was that I suspected that Diana would be included in the game, and would certainly be townie. Sorry, for doubting you, Q.) Anyway, I'm a little puzzled why he would have been chosen, since I thought he was very likely to be lynched.

In summary

Night 1 Zag, Successful (no one receives misinformation)
Night 2 Zag, Unsuccessful (Lost night ability by being recruited by Amb)
Night 3 Amb, Successful (Amb tried to recruit me)
Night 4 Raekul, Successful (Possibly blocked night kill?)
Night 5 Sniklac, Unsuccessful (not sure what is up with this, time will tell)

Is it possible that the part of the news report that was for LIML is when we see Anna's look as she is walking away?

Here's my problem with Ally's night choices: they are all convenient. It's perfectly possible she is scum and they didn't kill on one night so she could claim to have blocked rae. I'm just worried in that arena, especially since I was blocked on the night rae was supposedly blocked. I guess lynching Snik might shed light here since Ally and I have both targeted him and received "unsuccessful" results.

Also, why is MNO not dead yet? The scum must be ridiculously stupid not to have killed him yet. (Or he's scum claiming to protect me. I don't want to believe this one since no one has cross-claimed doctor, but it is strange.)

I mean I am who I say I am, and thatI must remind you if I were scum why would I have helped lynch 2 of the scum including the last one. I mean that would be pretty stupid on my part seeing as I'd be the only mafia left most likely. I think the most practical lynch today would be either mnowax or itisally. They are the highest on my suspicion list

Redoing the voting recap, with the new info. Known scum are in bold. Known townies are bold italics -- This is people who are dead and we've been told by the mod.

Day 5: L-1 bandwagon on raekuul
itisally, MNOWAX, Quailman, Sniklac16, (unvote Quailman), LIML, Quailman

Night 4: No night kill, and it seems all night actions were blocked (both LIML and Jedo, at least)

Day 5: L-1 bandwagon on raekuul
itisally, MNOWAX, Quailman, Sniklac16, (unvote Quailman), LIML, Quailman

Night 5: Quailman night-killed.

------------------

As much as I hate to say this, the voting record seems to indicate Snik to be a townie -- not terribly strongly, but some amount. (I don't know if I'm letting my judgement be skewed by my already thinking his is guilty.)

1. Day 1 and 2 lynches both start Snik, Rubberduck, and they are split scum and townie being lynched. if Snik were scum, I would think he would have found a reason to unvote Durryn, though after Durryn's gaff, maybe he felt it would be too suspicious. But then they vote together Day 2, also. I would think scum would try not to align so conspicuously.

2. His vote on raekuul was L-1 (even though Q unvoted to put him back at L-2). This was an unlikely time to bus a scum buddy, I would think. Though it did look pretty bad for raekuul and maybe he thought he was going down anyway.

On the other hand, I can't believe that news report indicates anything other than scum. LIML has confirmed that she did, in fact, report on Snik as she had planned. I still think that overrides any interpretation of voting records.

Sorry about the double post. I thought I only hit preview, early on, but I did have a fat fingers moment trying to add the underlines and bolds. Skip the first one, because the second has some added content.

I already claimed to be a day vig with 1 shot. I used it to kill Rubberduck. There was a caveat to my role, in that I would be given a second bullet, usable only for night kill, if I successfully killed scum. I used that second bullet to kill Quailman (sorry, you seemed honestly scummy to me).
This tells me that unless we have been consistently blocking the scum or protecting the scum target, they may not have the ability to make night kills. I would assume the former. With 14 players at the beginning, I would assume 4 scum. I think that Anna is the last scum. I also feel that Sniklac is the most likely candidate to be Anna, but if incorrect I know where I will place my suspicion.

I have to say I am concerned about the vote today. I will not get on a tear about game balance but I feel as though we are missing something. I feel the news report is a heavy enough to swing my vote. I have my doubts about Jedo and itisally, but maybe they are just naturally skeevy. Extreme Delectation

VOTE SNIKLAC
