Anyone interested in creating a board game with me?

Alright well I'm in a creative mood and it might seem a little nerdy but I want to create an RPG board game. Something like D&D (I've never played but I think it would be like this) basically everyone starts out and level 1 and goes to complete a common goal or final boss. There could be more than one team I suppose and if they ever encountered each other they would have to fight. The teams wouldn't have to move together, or maybe it is a game where you could complete it alone and are racing to get better weapons and armor than everyone else in order to beat the boss yourself. There could be mini bosses and such around alone with towns where you could buy items etc. not sure how I would make the battle system, maybe rolling dice? or maybe something more reliable like a damage range. But that is for all the brainstorming. If you are interested just post here and we can get our ideas together on skype or something and I will keep notes on everything until we can start developing. this is just a project I wouldn't mind doing in my spare time.

Things to Consider:

1. Single or Cooperative?
2. Battle System.
3. Board layout or another type of movement...maybe something that could be of use in a forum like setting?
4. Towns and weapons/weapon buying.
5. Much more such as balancing the enemies/battles when we get to this point.

That really seemed uncalled for, MNO. The post was on-target enough and clearly long enough that it isn't a spam bot. As a D&D aficionado, I take some exception to his assumptions. (and, Terukio, to your complete lack of understanding of what RPG's are really all about, but you're not alone in that misunderstanding.)

Anyway, I welcome you, Terukio, to GL, and I wish you best of luck in your project. I do think you'll get a lot more positive response if we get to know you, first. Join in some of the games, do what you can with the puzzles, and then let's talk.

If you wish to make and moderate a one-time game, Visitor Games does usually have enough open minded people. If you want to make the next D&D... well, that might take a long time on this forum. Real life friends and a few brewskies might get things rolling.
