Birthplace of forum mafia, not mafia MNOWAX. But I don't know if this is a puzzle site or a mafia oriented site, but I love their archive of puzzles, and have been checking a lot of the older ones out and testing my ability to solve them. |

I got 54 points...
My time management was crap. The ones I scored on took a total of about 30-40 minutes and I probably spent an hour on a 10 point puzzle that I didn't even solve :-(
Next year I will also have my act together enough to do the practice puzzles a week before. There were too many I didn't even really look at just because I didn't really want to figure out what kind of logic would be required to solve the puzzles. Many of the puzzles effectively have to be solved with an educated guess in order to see what restraints are actually in the puzzle. More experience would help make better starting guess. |
