This game will be updated (hopefully) once a day. Players don't have to make a move during that time but it will probably be beneficial. The game will be updated as long as 3 people have made a move and it has been about 24 hours from the last update. You may communicate outside the thread if you want.
Turn order will happen according to a predetermined secret ordering of players that changes every round.
On every turn you may do three actions. If an action you make isn't legal, I will ignore it and go to the next action.
All actions and information will be announced in the thread.
Turn options:
Move up, down, left, right.
Stab someone you may target either a space or a player. It will be successful if it is in the same space or an adjacent space. Causes one damage to the victim.
Give you may give any item you possess
Steal you may steal an item from someone if you are in the same space when it happens.
Press buttons Buttons do stuff.
Other actions items that you find in the square may allow special actions.
Each player has 5 health units. If you reach zero you die and may start over from the beginning.
The person who reaches the bomb first wins!
I expect the game to take about 20 days, maybe less.

| This is a fairly simple game. It just requires participation on a regular basis. Missing a few turns shouldn't hurt unless you ~have~ to win everything you play. |

The random turn order is to allow all the game actions to happen in the thread. With this, you can't say "well, Player A did this so I must do this to prevent it" because you won't know if Player A's or your moves will happen first.
So All actions for the game will happen in the thread. I will not be sending or receiving a single game related personal message. |

OK the game will start. More players may join, just post your three actions. You will start in a pseudorandom spot at the bottom. All players may make there three actions now.

I feel that I should warn people now that I genuinely have tremendous problems getting "left" and "right" correct... (Anyone who has played Roborally will know that this makes that game a peculiar form of masochistic hell for me.)
Anyway, I would like to
1. Move up (to I10)
2. Move left (to H10)
3. Move forward (to H9)

I am a really well programmed spambot so you can write out your moves as an interpretive dance when desired. If I am lost I will guess... I suppose I would even allow moves such as "move as far away from X as possible!"
But these are easiest for me...
Up / forward / north
Down / back / south
Left / east / ->
Right /west / <-
I have to figure out clockwise and counter-clockwise every time. And turning something to the right/left never really made sense to me. |

Are we assuming that D2 contains the bomb?

I'm assuming it only works if the target player is the same square or once adjacent to me, not the target square? Otherwise if I stand in A1 and I target A2, I could stab A3?

I am not being sarcastic at all, the fact that I have a cat now, AND it pushed a button, makes me want to participate much much more. KITTY!
I attempt to move RIGHT UP UP to get the gun away from the cat, lest this happen...

The gun can be picked up and used by a player. If it shot, the bullet will travel until it hits something (wall/person/other).
Yes, only open doors may be passed through. An open door will look like • A • instead of •-A-• |

And I see now that I moved Scurra one space to the left in my first update. Oh well, it won't matter and I don't think anyone noticed Actually I got it right 
Also, I am updating in the order the submissions arrive until the order of moves could influence the game.
And I won't be explaining the doors and buttons anymore. Unless my map symbols don't make sense to someone. |

In an act of pure generosity that will not be repeated, I added Amb's day two moves. So you got a Day 2 move but you did nothing on Day 1.
But in the future everyone who misses the 24 hour/3 people posting window will just sit still for that round. It isn't the end of the world. |

Just to clarify: I do ALL the actions from PlayerA and then move onto PlayerB etc.
So, if Scurra had pressed the button, pressed it again, and then moved up, he still would have made it through the door before Amb pressed the button (because Scurra was processed before Amb this round). This also makes it easier to stab and steal because you can move and hope your turn will be processed before they move.
Oh, I changed the buttons from (X) to [X] because of stupid autochange making the C button in copyright and R in the registered. |
