| Recently (in the last week or so), whenever I try to make a moderately-long post, I am informed that "invalid session" when I try to submit it. Submitting again immediately works, but all my "new since last visit" tags have been cleared. This seems to me like the session timeout has been set to an absurdly short value, like 1 minute. To which I can only respond, "WTF?" |

I think it might be related to the DST change. There's a bug where your cookie is suddenly from the future which screws up the calculation. _________________ After years of disappointment with get rich quick schemes, I know I'm gonna get rich with this scheme. And quick! |

This started before DST ended (at least in the US). Also it's still going on, even just now. It really feels like the session timeout was just inadvertently set to about 5 minutes, so if I'm writing or even just reading a long post without sending anything to the server, it kicks me off. I'm pretty sure it didn't always do this...
Although, now that I think about it, the problem might be on my end; I've been browsing a lot over my lunch and possibly the firewall at the office is recycling sessions too fast or something. I don't know. |

I checked just now, the limit on session length is an hour. So, probably it's some other issue. _________________ After years of disappointment with get rich quick schemes, I know I'm gonna get rich with this scheme. And quick! |
