A merging of two games played here before.

The game would work in the same simultaneous decision format as RAF, but with the scheming and elimination style used in Survivor.

Each "round" everyone submits one action to me via PM. The actions are: Target "Player", Target Self, and Target Sky.

Target "Player:" You submit a vote for that player.

Target "Self:" If no one has voted for you, you are out of the game due to quitting/medical leave/other made up reason I invent.

If at least one player has voted for you, you use a "hidden immunity idol" and all their votes are tossed out and do not count. You also stay in the game, and cast one vote at random (I'll roll) one of the people who voted for yourself.

Target "Sky:" You don't submit a vote for anyone.

Each round I hold a tribal council.
Any players who are removed due to targeting self will be taken out before the vote.
I will then read all votes cast, though not who cast which vote.
Finally I'll reveal if anyone will play an idol, cancelling out votes.
The player with the most votes is then eliminated.
If all players remaining target self, all players lose.
If there is a tie and somebody has quit out that round, no one is eliminated.
If there is a tie and nobody has quit out that round, then the tied players are eliminated.
If ALL players are tied AND nobody has quit out that round, I'll hold a "revote" where each player submits an action to me again (same or different from the previous). If two ties occur in a row with no elimination, I'll pick randomly from all players one to eliminate (the dreaded purple rock tie-break).
Note: The explicit target each player PMed is not going to be revealed until the game is over, only what the votes are, and who quit or used idols.

So there you have it. You're allowed to do any and all scheming, shmoozing, and bribing both in the GL publicly and privately, as well as outside the GL (phone, email, pony express, yogic flying, etc.) I reserve the right to impose arbitrary deadlines if such negotiations cause undue delays.

Survivors:
Jedo the Jedi Died in Sealand collapse
sAbLLimINal Died in Sealand collapse
MNOWAX 3rd voted out
Chuck Ejected by Sealand's Military
Amb Raked to Death
MatthewV 2nd voted out
j_s Accidental Death
raekuul Ejected by Probst
ralphmerridew 1st voted out

Could we just have both players lose if they are in a situation where they would both be eliminated? I like RAF games where nobody actually wins... and its much better than random choices making a winner.

I'll play.

Hm, I suppose only the only public actions would be what would normally be revealed at tribal council...

I suppose it would go like this:

Quitters revealed.
Votes read (without revealing who cast the votes).
"Hidden immunity idols" played.
Decision made.

Only if all remaining players end up "quitting" aka Targetting self.

Er, this is likely to be multiple rounds, and probably only a tad longer than RAF since less people will drop each round, but my "narrating" will be a bit condensed since it'll be survivor themed. I'll add you to the list, but if you want to drop just let me know and I'll give everyone the option to change plans. Game will start in roughly an hour....

Welcome to the 438th Season of Survivor! I'm your host Jeff Probst. This season we've scraped the bucket and found the last 9 people left eligible to play Survivor who haven't already. Also due to budget cuts, there will be no challenges, and we're on the less-than scenic locale of Sealand! That's right the tribemates will have to tough it out on this quasi-micronation while they bicker, scheme, and most importantly, vote people the f*** out! You may think there'll be less roughing it here, but this -is- a decommisioned WWII platform, so watch out for bird nests, artillery cannons, and that long drop to the ocean below.

Without further delay survivors, your first tribal council will be tonight. You have until sundown to get you s*** together and figure out what you're going to do. In the meanwhile I have dinner in the royal chambers with the King of Sealand, so seeya losers!

RE-READ THE RULES IN THE FIRST POST, IT SHOULD HAVE ALL SITUATIONS COVERED. Again, you are free to talk in thread or out of thread. I am imposing a temporarily deadline of WEDNESDAY MIDNIGHT PST. If you need an extension, just let me know, but have a better reason than "oops forgot." Good luck!

The sun sets in a time-lapse b-roll shot behind the picturesque concrete buildings of Sealand. The survivors make the long trek out to the helipad each holding a Coleman electric lantern, and take their seats on empty milk crates.

"Good evening Survivors, I see all nine of you made it safely to tonight's vote, so let's get to it."

Players walk over to cast their votes one at a time, and re-take their seats while some music that sounds half-way between tribal yelling and stomp the musical plays. Jeff fetches the "Chock full O' Votes" coffee tin.

"Once I read the votes the decision is final, and the survivor with the most votes will be cast over the edge of Sealand. Probably to die. I don't give a ****."

Peeling off the STAYFRESH (c) lid he reaches in to read the scraps of paper...

"First vote...ralphmerridew

Next vote....Amb

Next....Amb. That's two votes Amb, one ralphmerridew.

Next...MNOWAX

Next...ralphmerridew.

Next...ralphmerridew. That's three votes ralphmerridew, two votes Amb, one MNOWAX.

Next....ralphmerridew ....and that's the last vote."

"If anyone has a immunity idol, now is the time to play it..."

....

"Alright. ralphmerridew, you have four votes, and tonight that's enough. Bring me your lantern." ralphmerridew walks to Jeff with his Coleman, rolling his luggage along with him. "The tribe has spoken," and Jeff dramatically flips the switch to off, placing it in the ceremonial empty oil drum. Then kicks ralphmerridew in the pants over the edge of the deck.

"Either that guy got on people's nerves easy, or there was a coordinated effort today. And two of you tried to stay under the radar by voting for no one. We'll see how long that strategy will pay off as the numbers dwindle. Now get out of my face, I need go do some lines of coke in the bathroom."

(Just to be clear, the two non-votes were players targeting the sky, which is legal, not two people being inactive. With that Day 1 is over and the new Day begins. Feel free to scheme and schmooze over the holidays, I suspect many would like to see the deadline postponed for a weekish, so no actions due til Jan 3rd 2012. Of course if I get all actions in before, I'll be obligated to update sooner.)

Jesus_saves woke up early the day of the tribal council, and decided to go for a jog. Unfortunately dawn is a really bad time to run about a short pier...especially if you get a charlie horse, slip on some bird droppings, and fall breaking your neck. The custodial staff found her later that morning and gave her a sea burial.

Later that night the survivors walk into tribal council, taking their seats while holding their lanterns. However only 6 are present, an empty milk crate waiting for Raekuul, who is still sleeping in his cabin. Jeff, becoming increasingly agitated, walks over and kicks the crate off the side of the marine base.

"Forget him, I got things to do, blah blah blah tribe Raekuul you're out. Anyways the rest of you suckers gotta go drop votes in the vote can."

"Well...go!"

The Survivors all walk over one at a time, dropping in their votes into the coffee can. Jeff walks over and grabs it, then dumps the contents onto the stand in front of him.

"Lesse here...

We got a vote for Jedo the Jedi...

And the other four...are for MatthewV. MattV get your ass up here."

Jeff snatches the lantern from MatthewV when he meets him, tossing it overboard. "Good luck somewhere else sucker," he offers, with an aggressive push to the edge of the platform, sending him into the drink.

Later that night raekuul is escorted off the premises by security.

So there you have it, Day 2 over, a new round begins! And yes, everyone sent actions, the above is just lots of flavor text around the action.

Both Chuck and Amb had spied MNOWAX, Jedo, and sAb entering a bunkroom on the east end of the platform. Figuring themselves master spies, they concocted a scheme where Chuck would feign illness to gain access to the medical supplies, while Amb would lift a set of stethoscopes. Of course Amb had no intention on waiting until the end of Chuck's fake examination, so he ran off to listen in on the other three.

Resting the metal cup of the stethoscope on the walls of the private bedroom, Amb attempted to make out the conversation, while Chuck was busy humoring the medical staff with the knee-hammer test. However at this time Jeff Probst had harassed the staff of Sealand to let him fire off the canons because "it would be totally cool."

The thunder of gunpowder and lead rattled the entire facility, causing Chuck's leg to kick much harder than anticipated, nailing the doctor in the groin. A few highly-strung security personnel, desperate for something to attack on the isolated pier, seized him immediately on suspicion of battery and assault, the punishment for which was a swift toss overboard.

Amb didn't hear the rumble of the cannon because by the time the vibrations hit the metal he was using the stethoscope on, it immediately deafened his ears and rattled his skull, giving him a minor concussion, and sending him staggering into the rake storage closet, hilariously adding further injury to his cranium until he fell over dead.

When the metal stopped rattling around them, MNOWAX, Jedo the Jedi, and sAbLLimINal stopped their game of cribbage to step outside, only to be rushed by the casting crew to tribal council again, muttering about cutting their losses and getting it over with.

"And then there were three....wait...weren't there...ah **** it, the can's over there, vote, you know the drill." Jeff said, tossing his cards aside and reaching in his shirt pocket for a flask.

"Alright here's the votesssssssssss....

Uh first issuh....Meno...Mino.....M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T.....MNOWAX...

Oh and this one is MNOWAX too. That sucks...

looks like the lasht guy voted forrrr Jedo the Jedi but nobody cares cause MNOWAX is out. Security! Get him outta my face!"

"As for the rest of you..you...two...uh...I guess just..vote...again. Yeahhhhhhhh *hic*"

And then there were two! So still sending targets like normal. Quick recap of two-player set-up.

A Votes B, B Votes A, tie, resend.
A Votes B, B Votes self, B wins.
A Votes B, B Votes Sky, A wins.
Both vote self, both die.
Both vote sky, resend.
