Cancer gets telepathy as a part of the job of being Cancer, I have enough to know surface thoughts if I focus hard enough, and Gemini already had it before they joined the Zodiac, and I don't know how Scorpio learned how to do it beforehand. We're all practicing our defenses and whatnot in case of mental assault. I can train you a little later in defensive theory, though if you really were serious about learning it you'd really need to speak to Cancer about it."

He glances around for a moment, then drops his voice to a near whisper. "Cancer and I have been discussing you, without the other Zodiac members, and we've pretty much figured that Astra wants you to spy on us for her - not that she or I even care whether that is the case. The problem is, is that half of us want to ask your help in dealing with the Shadow Wolf problem, and the other half want you to spy on Astra for them."
