Back to back home runs for The Rangers. That's good enough for me. Texas wins The World Series.

I forgot that I wanted to watch The Big Bang Theory instead.

And in other news, Dewey defeats Truman.

One of the most awesome games in World Series history. And Chuck missed it.

But wait! I didn't actually claim that Texas would win that particular game. By "Texas wins The World Series", I obviously meant that those two home runs would boost their morale for game 7.

Oh man. Now I REALLY want the Cardinals to win Game 7 today.

What a game 6 that was! I had to leave town to help my mother-in-law in East Texas. At least she has satellite and I gotto watch all of these last two games. There was no doubt that they'd win 7 after the way they came back twice to win 6.

That was exciting, but now it's over. By tonight I won't even remember who played. Saint Louis sports fans will have to root for some other team. Maybe The Rams will beat The Saints tomorrow.

I know, we are a mediocre team in the best division in baseball and we have no chance, but Montero, Smoak are great, and we have a couple other young good bats (Peguero if he can aim his swing better and learn to tone it back sometimes) and quite a few stellar young guns to go along with older talent.

Also hurah for 2 extra playoff teams, it's long overdue in my opinion.

The Texas Rangers, demoralized by their World Series loss, are already ½ game behind.

That made me laugh though, Chuck; I think the Mariners would be the ultimate Cinderella team in modern baseball if they made it into the playoffs.

Anyone else think that there's too much talent in MLB? Either we need an elite to rise to a whole new level, or perhaps expansion?

The Marlins didn't even get a hit until the seventh inning, and the runner who scored was only on base due to a blown call that should have ended the inning.
