Jedo: -8

UM: 0
Scurra: 3

oh, and in a different game Jedo mentioned being gone for a week. So there might be a delay on this round.

I did agonise for quite a while over my bid because I just couldn't tell from Zag's bid what he had done. Which is the point, of course. Revenge most foul! Hey ho.

Yeah, well, it's hardly going to help me much in the long run, so I figured I'd save you the bother of bidding this round and steal an extra 1. Revenge most foul!
(And if it all goes pear shaped and I actually end up with the bag but it turns out to be worth -11 or something, then you can laugh some more.)

Thanks. It wasn't completely unexpected, so it isn't as tragic as it might have been.

I was pretty booked up, with the funeral and then the spreading of his ashes, plus all the visiting. But my wife's mother still lives in Indianapolis, so we go out there periodically. (We were also in Terre Haute, which is where her father lived.) Where are you in the Hoosier state?

I will say "pass" in the hope that it sounds like a clever tactical play rather than the fact that I was already at my maximum with my previous bid...

The only important thing to note about the bank, is that if it falls below the minimum 15, it will not pay out the following round to anyone.

So that means unless this round goes for 10, there will be no money next round.

UMonk, you must have played that small dog, so you knew that the -8 was likely to be wiped out. If you had waited until you saw the 8 that MattV played, you would have known that the pot was worth 13 plus whatever I played, and I had already played my big dog. Why would you pass so quickly (or at all)?
