Funny... I have seen a very similar phrase on the internet before.

I would tell it as God told women that good and honest husbands would be found on all corners to the world. Then he made the world round.
maybe this is why I miss living on islands

I'm amused that people are still giving CDs as birthday gifts, apparently. I think someone last gave me a CD for my birthday in 1998.

UK military drafted to fill empty Olympic seating

This is a perfect blend of conspiracies, outrage, and absurdity. Where are all the ticket holders? Why couldn't most people get tickets? And the lengths people are going to cover it up. People will bitch about ANYTHING, and yet some of the complaints here are quite legit. It's a storm in a bottle that most people will likely either never hear about or not care. I love it.

I heard an interesting report on the radio that the tickets were supposed to be filled by the other countries constituants and that the london committee was pretty angry that that didn't happen and was looking to get sell the empty seats to local residents only but that the other countries had to do something first.

I can't comment on the accuracy of that though. I was listening over the chatting of my carpoole and may have missed key details.

I've been setting a live trap in my yard the last several days to try to reduce the feral cat population around here. My front yard smells like a litterbox. I've caught two and animal control took them away for adoption. I also caught a smallish Opposum, which I released. Boy did it ever stink! I didn't catch anything last night, but when I looked out a little while ago, I noticed the trap was sprung. I couldn't see anything in it, and when I went outside for a closer look, the cat food was gone, but still nothing. Oh wait, there's a Red-eared Slider, about eight or nine centimeters long in the corner.

First day of school, I had the students go get their textbooks and then give me their last name and the last two digits of their book number.

I had to do a double take when a student said "Miller, 64."

And we have a new Moron of the Moment winner:

According to MSNBC, saying someone is "angry" is racist code for "you're a nigger".

Congratulations Touré, the angry winner of the most recent Moron of the Moment award.

DM, You and I don't agree on much, politically; but I'm with you on this.

Of course, I think Romney's full of shit to be calling Obama angry and divisive. How many times has Obama tried to reach across the aisle only to be slapped? But it isn't a racist thing, just the usual political bullshit.

Seriously? This is the guy who tried to hire a fairly conservative Republican for Secretary of the Interior? This is the guy who bent over backwards on his signature campaign promise, Universal Health Care, adopting the approach that Mit Romney devised when he was Governor of Massachusetts, only to have the Big-Health-Insurance-Financed Republicans spit on it, with their lies of Death Panels and the like. And Americans were stupid enough to believe it!

Have you not been paying attention? This congress has been called the Party of No for a reason, because they block everything Obama has put forth, whether or not it was something that actually originated in their own party. Of course, Ronald Reagan would be too liberal for the GOP today, now that the huge money and the Christian bigots have put their strangle hold on it. That's just crazy.

Or do you drink the Fox News Kool-Aid?

Today, the "network" I oversee decided to take a big shit and die. Literally, it was working one second and then multiple routers crashed and lost all of their configuration the next. So, the internet is not accessible on camp.

I'm working on it, and somebody walks up to me. They informed me that they'd been trying to send me an email to let me know that the internet wasn't working, but the email wouldn't send, so I should probably look at that too.... RSA

That video was removed, but I'm guessing that this is the video you were posting.

"Angry" does seem an unusual adjective to use for Obama though. I don't believe that it was chosen because of its racist undertones, but you can be sure it was chosen after extensive research and many dollars. If test-groups responded appropriately then it gets used.

Newsweek's cover story
Color me legitimately surprised. Newsweek used to be one of his biggest supporters. Like, disgustingly biased supporter. The times, they are-a changin'? Maybe. We shall see.

It's one (albeit cover) story by an admittedly biased freelancer. It's a way to be provocative to increase sales. I don't think it marks a trend.

Nope. Not the video. It's one from Key and Peele where Obama has a meeting with Republican leaders. He throws out suggestions for what he should do that are copied from the Republican platform, and they disagree with everything he says.

I find it interesting that Viacom keeps taking that one down, but leaves the others up.

Found it again: http://www.comedycentral.com/video-clips/tnawa2/key-and-peele-obama-s-meeting-with-republicans

Pretty funny, Neo.

I saw a poster that showed a dog peeing on a snowman, and it said, "President Obama should warn people not to eat yellow snow, just because it would be so funny to see Fox News trying to find the counter argument."

I've noticed similar trends, groza. I think people have become so used to that fact that bulk is cheaper that the companies are now switching back to make a little extra money. No wonder our economy is so screwed up when things like supply and demand and bulk packaging aren't practiced.

My experience:
1 full-sized comb $.99
2 full-sized combs $2.99
1 half-sized comb $1.99
a bag of 12 assorted full and half-sized combs $2.39

WTF?
