You hear in the back of your mind "Fred's been taken down, someone's got his necklace. All men, we have a rogue Wyvern, assume it has befriended."

Extend my hand and slowly approch the wyvern. Calmly let the others know that other raiders are on thier way here.

OH.. sorry thats my mind adding details that aren't there. I mean if any of the raiders they are fighting have necklaces they should try to get them, they seem to form a link with the group and the wyvern.

You do not have the skill to seamlessly repair the broken necklace, but you can easily tie a knot in it as a temporary measure.

Your wyvern continues to hold the other wyvern by the neck. The wyvern continues to struggle, but not very effectively.

You instruct your wyvern to release the other wyvern. The hostile wyvern immediately attacks yours.

The voice on the other end of the line groans. "Great. Be careful; apparently we're dealing with a well-learned wizard. Be ready for anything, especially the call to flee."

Try to calm the hostile Wyvern. If that dosen't work tell think to them, "necklace broke "

You try to calm the hostile wyvern, but to no avail. Your wyvern gets the hostile wyvern by the neck again.

You inform the voice on the other side of the necklace that the necklace broke.

"You're lying." He says. "If the necklace were broke, you wouldn't be able to tell me that. I think you're the wizard."

You feel highly conspicuous. You feel the connection through the necklace being severed.

Silly man, I am the wizard, never said diffrently. And the necklace is broken. Cast light bolt on the hostile wyvern. If that dosen't do him in stab him with the spear.

*sigh* Try to get downstairs to the others in a way that wont trap my wyvern.

There surely must be more than one way back to the lower floors, given the sound of the din in the distance. You think you hear someone shouting from down the hall.

You and your wyvern wander through the halls, following the sounds you think you hear. Eventually, you come across a grand staircase leading upwards. Scattered across the floor are raiders in varying states of injury. They all appear to have a green tint.

You definitely hear shouting from the top of the stairs.
