The wyvern cries out in surprise, but your freezing mists don't seem to be taking effect.

You hear in the back of your mind "Fred's been taken down, someone's got his necklace. All men, we have a rogue Wyvern, assume it has befriended."

Extend my hand and slowly approch the wyvern. Calmly let the others know that other raiders are on thier way here.

You inform the other three, who tell you that they have been fending off raiders from further below - apparently one of the other stairwells have been breached from the outside. The wyvern rubs against you in a cat-like manner as best it can.

Gemini nod and work their way back down the stairs. Taurus falls in formation.

There is a friendly wyvern blocking the door here.

The wyvern backs out of the doorway, allowing you access to the next floor.

You can hear the sounds of combat coming from below.

You turn around and start to head down the stairs. The wyvern gets stuck in the doorway again, and whines softly for help (or an alternative route)

The rider is wearing a necklace. You only manage to break the necklace. The rider is immobilized. The enemy wyvern unleashes an unearthly cry! The rider is freed from his icy prison. Your wyvern lunges at the enemy wyvern.

You cast Paralytic Flare. The flames wrap around the raider for a moment, then immobilize his body. The raider curses at being immobilized again. The enemy wyvern tries to fend off your wyvern. Your wyvern goes for the neck of the enemy wyvern.

You do not have the skill to seamlessly repair the broken necklace, but you can easily tie a knot in it as a temporary measure.

You have magic which can be used to restrain the enemy wyvern. However, your wyvern has clamped its jaws around the neck of the other wyvern.

You instruct the wyvern to hold as you tie a knot in the necklace in order to make it wearable. The wyvern complies by holding the enemy wyvern by the neck. The enemy wyvern struggles to break free.

You put on the necklace. You hear a voice in the back of your head.

"Mark!? Did you manage to get our wyvern back?"

Your wyvern continues to hold the other wyvern by the neck. The wyvern continues to struggle, but not very effectively.

You instruct your wyvern to release the other wyvern. The hostile wyvern immediately attacks yours.

The voice on the other end of the line groans. "Great. Be careful; apparently we're dealing with a well-learned wizard. Be ready for anything, especially the call to flee."

You try to calm the hostile wyvern, but to no avail. Your wyvern gets the hostile wyvern by the neck again.

You inform the voice on the other side of the necklace that the necklace broke.

"You're lying." He says. "If the necklace were broke, you wouldn't be able to tell me that. I think you're the wizard."

You feel highly conspicuous. You feel the connection through the necklace being severed.

Silly man, I am the wizard, never said diffrently. And the necklace is broken. Cast light bolt on the hostile wyvern. If that dosen't do him in stab him with the spear.

*sigh* Try to get downstairs to the others in a way that wont trap my wyvern.

You remove the necklaces. Your wyvern tries to rub his head against you in a manner reminiscent of a highly affectionate cat.

There surely must be more than one way back to the lower floors, given the sound of the din in the distance. You think you hear someone shouting from down the hall.

You and your wyvern wander through the halls, following the sounds you think you hear. Eventually, you come across a grand staircase leading upwards. Scattered across the floor are raiders in varying states of injury. They all appear to have a green tint.

You definitely hear shouting from the top of the stairs.
