Favorite Cliché Nominations

By popular demand - Favorite Cliché has won out in the desired Potential Poll Tourney Poll (a.k.a. the P.P.T.P.) So, get your nominations in! 20 is the limit per poster.

Guidelines:
-Nominate 20 of your favorite cliches (i.e. "Another day, another dollar", "Barking up the wrong tree", "Time is money", etc.) I will post some sites later for those who may need help calling clichés to mind.
-The 64 most nominated clichés will earn a spot in the "Favorite Cliché Tournament". With any runover clicés being put into a "runoff" bracket DEPENDING on whether the number is suitable for a tournament bracket.

The nomination process will last no longer than August 2nd, 2012 3:00 PM EST so be sure to get your nominations in. If the nomination process should slow considerably before then, then the tournament may start prematurely.

I'm wondering what the new deadline should be (considering this one has brought out so few noms) to maybe rope in a bit more so we can have a substantial tournament. Not to bag or knock, but the small candidate list we have just wouldn't seem worth orchestrating a tourney with. I'm wondering in part if the small turnout for PT has just been due to the GL being in somewhat of an offseason and the school and work schedules just not being as fervent yet to want to make people procrastinate to easily accessed sites like this one. (When not on vacation or lounging elsewhere)

Maybe something in late Sept. or Oct.?

It'd be a shame to see this place die...
