Catching a Coin Shaver is now solved. I hope that y'all are as impressed with the solution as I am. Thanks again to ZutAlors! for providing the puzzle. If you know a good puzzle that we haven't yet covered, send it in!

The Alchemist , a tricky MAS mini-hunt puzzle, has also been solved. In it's place is The Sentry. Thanks to Duphrates for the artwork and Mike Sylvia for all the delightful puzzles!

Like anyone ever reads this...

I seldom even see the first page anymore

Halo 2 is a lot like Halo 1, only it's Halo 1 on fire, going 130 miles per hour through a hospital zone, being chased by helicopters and ninjas, and the ninjas are all on fire, too.

Okay, since people apparently read this, I might as well pose a question to y'all.

Are the current puzzles satisfactory? I'm not thrilled with them, myself.

I'd like to go to the Car Talk Puzzlers or the rec.puzzles archive and dig up some good stumpers, but I don't know that such is the way to go about matters.

How long has it been since a puzzle hasn't been derived from a VSP puzzle?

April. There have been 8 new puzzles since then, 7 of which were from the mini-hunt.

At this point (about 2 months with no new featured puzzle), I'd be willing to accept anything. And is it just me, or has the latest resident minotaur been lost in record time? (I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere..)

The Minotaur's dead

and the wind cried, "Many."

kill it before it spreads

Alas, they are necessary
