I sent a letter back in late August, which I mentioned here. I heard absolutely nothing from the neighbor for the next week. We didn't really talk at all before, so I'm not sure what that means.
Since then, I've been away for two weeks, headed home right now actually. I suppose there's a chance that there's another letter sitting there, or that we'll find all his branches were removed while we were gone. I'll know more in 3 hours when I finally finish this drive (NC to MA).

You were in NC?! Whereabouts?
Also, I think posting and driving is probably worse than texting and driving.

In Charlotte for a good portion of the twoo weeks, in Lake Lure for the rest. I'm actually a passenger at the moment, but I'm about to take over (at which point, I'll stop posting).

No letter in my mailbox, no branches gone, no response whatsoever it seems. I guess it's over.
I'd like to think that if I was him and I truly didn't understand the legality, I would have apologized for bugging my neighbor. That's probably wishful thinking - I would most likely just get mad, grumble about the law, and not say anything...
