I plan on trying to resurect my big brother game. I really think te format would work well on formus if I could drum up enough interest _________________ The Classic Blunders:

If forced to watch the show, I would seriously consider plucking my own eyes out and puncturing my eardrums with a pencil. But a game based on it might not be out of the question, since it would not include the incessant whining which is all I have heard in the few times I have accidentally paused on the show while flipping channels. What's your format? |

basically the us version
HoH comp winner nominates two fellow players
power of veto winner can remove one name
then there is a vote
I will repost my signup thread and expanded rules as soon as jotto is done and see if we can get at least 8 which is the minimum I will accept _________________ The Classic Blunders:

Hey, um, I was thinking of doing a new Quizsheep, but I've only got two questions so far. Is anyone interested? _________________ Prohibit nothing. Disclose everything. |

Time to bring this thread out of retirement:
Survivor: Risk Vs. Reward
Based off an idea I fashioned a long time ago.
Recipe:
1. Add one regular format of Survivor.
2. Give each and every player the ability to abstain from voting at any tribal council, and instead reserve their vote for a later tribal council in addition to their own.
3. Perhaps make the merge a reset point, so the loser tribe does not gain more power at the merge.
4. Additional layer: Should saved votes count as jury votes if said player does not get to use them?
Still a lot to edit, which is mainly why I posted about it here. |

I'd say yes to #4. I doubt it would break the game, so you might as well allow it.
But I think one other issue should be dealt with:
5. If there's ever a tie vote at a tribal council (including the final jury vote), then there's a revote to break the tie. Also, the "reserve your vote" rule does not apply to the revote; everyone must vote, and everyone gets exactly one vote. |

Oh man...
6. When it gets down to the final three, everyone votes at tribal council, not just the player with immunity. Of course, the two non-immune players must vote for each other (if they vote at all), but there's always the question of how many votes to cast.
7. If a player makes it to the finals with any votes still in reserve, those votes automatically count as votes for that player to win. |

| Those rules give the person who wins immunity in the round of three a nontrivial advantage: he gains votes in the final round by not voting the previous round when he has immunity by burning off votes of his potential opponent. I'd suggest putting in a rule that if a tribal council results in a tie, then nobody gets to keep a saved vote for that round. |
