The Cardinals finished with 3 so we have a likely wipeout team already.

Seems like the first one, to me. Extreme Delectation If they are the wipeout, then UMonk will take the lead in the game.

I'm still counting on the 49ers shutting out the Bills. Enthusiastic Grin

I just meant for the NFL. I think there is some piss poor football being played by the supposedly good teams.

Actually, as a Patriots fan, two of the upsets have been pretty upsetting, especially considering how very close both of those were.

Considering that would cause a total wipeout, it won't happen.

The NFC West is 14 and 6 as a division. Every AFC division has a losing record. It doesn't seem fair that they should get just as many playoff teams as the NFC.

I bet you could have got awesome odds on "After Week 5, all 4 NFC West teams will be above .500". The Rams and Cards were all viewed as pushovers by all of the experts, and most picked the Seahawks at .500 mostly from beating up on the Rams and Cards (both of whom they have already lost games to, while beating the Cowboys, Packers, and Pathers).

The NFL is crazy...

not really the NFL is built on a system of parity. How many high round draft picks did those team get while they were the laughing stock of the NFL. Whos laughing now.

As to it being unfair that it is very likely one of those teams will miss the playoffs with more wins than a couple AFC teams well thats just how it works. To make the playoffs you just have to be better than three teams. A third of your schedual is against your own division so there is plenty of chances. Win your division no excuses.

I had this same discussion with a friend of mine a couple years ago when Seatle made the playoffs by winning their division with a record of 7-9. People went nuts. What did Seattle do with all the contriversy went out and upset the heavily favored New Orleans Saints on a beast mode run by marshawn Lynch. Might be the greatest play I have ever seen live.

It would actually be fun to see a 7 and 9 team win The Superbowl. The controversy would be more interesting than the game.

It looks like The Falcons might already have enough wins to make the playoffs.

That is especially too bad since I'm sure most football fans would rather watch football. Plus, does it really need to be on every channel? Most people get more than one channel, and they aren't exactly going to be flipping around seeing who is providing better coverage. Oh, Jiminy

Anyway, I went pretty gutsy with this week's list. We'll see what Zag does.

As it stands, if Zag wipes out, so will most other people.

If his luck of being one of a couple people to get points, the likely Wipeout teams are Cardinals, Chargers, Cowboys, Eagles, Jets, Panthers, or Ravens.
