Hey this is my first post and my first puzzle here, although I have lurked for a while now. Please provide critiques, although I can already guess what one of them will be.

My first conjecture would be the letters seem like letters from the musical scale.

Welcome, zyzzyva. We're always glad to have people come posting original puzzles. I'm afraid that I'm not musical, at all, and nothing jumps out at me, but I'm not even in the top half of puzzle solvers on this site. I'm a little surprised that the more talented ones haven't jumped in with something.
Scurra, the IP zyzzyva has posted from is one that no one else has ever used. |

"Zyzzyva" used to be a buzzword around the labyrinth. That's why I used it in the troll puzzle to begin with. Depending on how long zyzzyva has been lurking s/he could easily have picked it up in some other thread.
To my knowledge, this user is not related to me or any of my puzzles |

No, my username is a coincidence; it's my favourite word and my username on almost every site.
As for the puzzle, it does require some musical knowledge, and the use of the music posted in the link. I'll be editing the letters at some point to add a little more information, should have done that earlier.
