Here's a question I've been meaning to ask: Why are the Packers getting so much press? Aaron Rodgers has multiple commercials, and Clay Matthews and BJ Raji are getting their air time alongside. I've even seen Greg Jennings in a few commercials, and the Packers have the most appearances in the SNF intro. I just don't get it because they aren't necessarily the biggest team at the moment. The last time I saw one team get so much attention was when the Patriots were in the midst of their dynasty.

They won a Super Bowl two years ago, and went 15-1 last year.

That's nothing compared to the Patriots though, and the Steelers really should have gotten quite a bit of commercial action after breaking the Super Bowl record.

Anyway, Chiefs are low with 3, but there are seven other teams with 7 or less points at halftime.

But those wins are so three years ago.

What I'm saying is the Steelers didn't get any action then like the Packers are getting now.

I'm not really complaining since the Packers are my team, but it doesn't make sense to me.

Troy Polamalu has been perpetually on Head and Shoulders commercials for the last three or four years.

Roethlisberger has done his best to destroy his advertising credibility by being involved in several high profile legal incidents. (In contrast Rodgers has a squeaky clean profile).

I guess James Harrison or Mike Wallace should have a few more commercials. Most of the other Steelers just aren't that high profile.

That makes a little more sense. I wonder who the most commercialed team is over the last twenty years.

Well, I need the Seahawks or the Chargers to fail. It wouldn't be the first time for the Chargers to be the Wipeout Team, so I guess that's comforting.

What sucks about the Colts' loss is that I benched Shonn Green on my fantasy team, then the Jets turned up the heat. Melancholy

Needed to avoid wipeout by Colts:

JDTAY: Cardinals, Giants, Texans, Broncos, Chargers

Jedo: Chargers

Shadow: Cardinals, Redskins, Broncos

Suspence: Redskins

Monk: Giants

Zag: Cardinals, Chargers

The Fortyniners still have 3 points with under two minutes left in the game. They have the ball at their own 20. They're down 23 points so they won't be trying any field goals.

Shocked ... Confused ... Melancholy

Seriously, what the hell? The entire NFL is apparently extremely inconsistent this season. Nobody is safe, and even though the Falcons squeezed out a win, there doesn't seem to be any "for sure" victors rising to the top.

Well, I was happy the Pack won. I meant to ask Zag, what happened to the Pats? Considering the state of the league, it's not super surprising, but I didn't get to see if it was just a lack of chemistry or what.

The Jets scored no offensive touchdowns in 4 pre-season games, then topped the wipeout chart in Week 1 with 48 points, then became the only NFL team to get shutout (so far) in Week 4. The league is crazy this year.

The good news is that my team, the Dolphins, are tied for first place. Even better, the hated Patriots are tied for last place. Razz

I'll probably just start picking one team per division if the Broncos wipeout. Maybe just two per conference.

Where's the "I'm sick" emoticon? I mean, you would think I would be numb to the inconsistent NFL play this season, but I could not imagine the 'Niners going out like that two weeks in a row. Harbaugh would have a conniption!

What I want to know is, What happened to those freaking long-pass catching Seahawks that beat the Patriots last week? OMG, they made four or five long passes that needed a perfect pass combined with an perfect over-the-shoulder catch, and they made every one. Last night, in spite of several perfect passes, the receivers dropped them all.
