Hah! I picked them both, this week, just to show you that I'm not afraid to play with fire!

Actually, I deemed them both to have such terrible defenses that their mediocre offenses should make something happen. It turns out that I'm lucky the Dolphins have decent special teams. Anyway, 14-19, so probably neither is the wipeout.

Looks like my new hope is for the Raiders or the Lions, both of which have good potential for being the Wipeout Team.

The Falcons have thrown 3 interceptions in the first quarter and trail The Cardinals 13 to 0. The Packers, Panthers, and Cowboys also have no points.

Oh, yeah, The Falcons got a touchdown when one of their players picked up a fumble that everyone else thought was an incomplete pass and ran it in uncontested.

All six currently playing teams have at least 7 points each. That leaves The Ravens, Steelers, Bears, and Fortyniners.

Things look good for Zag, Undercover Monk, Jedo the Jedi, and The Potter.

Ugh. I didn't realize that Big Ben wasn't playing this week. I think I would not have included the Steelers if I had realized that. Well, let's hope they outscore the Eagles.

OMG! They're wearing those butt-ugly uniforms. This could be bad.

Edit: Or not. Extreme Delectation

By the way, who else watched that awesome Patriots game today? That's the Patriots I want to see playing for the rest of the season -- protecting the QB, not making stupid drops, making interceptions and causing fumbles... It was all fun!

So, the Pats offense missed a field goal to remain down 7 to 14. When the offense next had the ball, they were already ahead 21 to 17. (We ran back a punt and an interception for TD's.) I wonder if that's anywhere near a record for most total points scored between the offense's touches of the ball.

Looking at the top three.

Code:

Jedo the Jedi     Undercover Monk    Zag

Bears             Bears
Bengals           Bengals            Bengals
                  Bills
Broncos                              Broncos
                  Browns
Buccaneers                           Buccaneers
                  Colts              Colts
Cowboys           Cowboys            Cowboys
Falcons                              Falcons
Fortyniners       Fortyniners        Fortyniners
                  Giants
Jets
Packers           Packers
Patriots          Patriots           Patriots
                  Raiders            Raiders
                  Rams
Ravens            Ravens             Ravens
Redskins
Saints            Saints             Saints
                  Seahawks           Seahawks
Steelers                             Steelers
Texans            Texans             Texans
                  Vikings

Removing the ones that can't make a difference because we all have them.

Code:

Jedo the Jedi     Undercover Monk    Zag

Bears             Bears
                  Bills
Broncos                              Broncos
                  Browns
Buccaneers                           Buccaneers
                  Colts              Colts
Falcons                              Falcons
                  Giants
Jets
Packers           Packers
                  Raiders            Raiders
                  Rams
Redskins
                  Seahawks           Seahawks
Steelers                             Steelers
                  Vikings

Some observations:

I can't be the only one (of us three) to wipe out. If I do, at least one of you two will, also.

Jedo vs me: Bears, Jets, Packers, Redskins, vs. Colts, Raiders, Seahawks. If neither of us wipes out, you'll probably gain ground, but not a lot. And the Jets? Really?

UMonk vs. me: Bears, Bills, Browns, Giants, Packers, Rams, Vikings, vs. Broncos, Buccaneers, Falcons, Steelers. You'll probably gain more ground, if we both score points. But I specifically dropped Giants & Packers because they are both up against some stiff defense (that is, each other). I would not be amazed to find the wipeout coming from that game.

Jedo vs. UMonk: Broncos, Buccaneers, Falcons, Jets, Redskins, Steelers, vs. Bills, Browns, Colts, Giants, Raiders, Rams, Seahawks, Vikings. I think UMonk will gain a little if neither wipes out, leaving them nearly tied.

So I'm looking for Bears or Packers to wipeout.

Jedo wants to see Colts, Raiders, or Seahawks be the wipeout

UMonk wants it to be Broncos, Buccaneers, Falcons, or Steelers.

Redskins 28, Cowboys 3 at the half. All the above analysis by Zag could be for naught if the Cowboys don't wake up and only the Potter would score if they are the wipeout team.
