February 12, 2001 - Regular Update

Greetings All,
I'm back at last from Europe. I returned about a week ago, but came down with a cold almost immediately. Lots of news: First, the somewhat stale puzzle from last month has its solution posted. And, as always, there's a new one up. This one was submitted some time ago by a Grey Labyrinth regular, I'm only now posting it. You can see both of these in the Puzzles Section.

There are over a hundred emails in my box that I haven't even read yet, so if you sent me a message, please be patient.

For all of you that were following the Potpourri IV contest, you know that in the end the Grey Labyrinth made a donation to the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation. I received a very nice thank you letter from Mitchell Stoller, the President and CEO of the Foundation, which you can read here.

I have mentioned previously and in Forum posts that I've been working on an Open Content authoring tool that will, when finished, allow Grey Labyrinth members to author content, and allow me to administer the site and publish content from any browser, anywhere. I won't be able to use the "I'm in Europe" excuse any more for not doing updates Anyway, the tool is still under development, however: today is the first update which was done entirely using this tool, except for the file transfers, which still was done manually.
