A student turned in a case study (a business/finance case) that, to me, is obviously plagiarized. She has really struggled with the course and, frankly, is not all that bright. Still, she turned in a paper that is extremely professional in nature and hits all the important points of the case.

Do any of you know any online resources that she may have used to acquire the paper?

Have you tried searching Google on key phrases? This will probably not turn up the actual paper, or any results, but it's a start.

As for buying term papers online, here's one. Here's another.

My profs use turnitin.com, but you may need to subscribe to that. Also, couldn't she have gotten another (brighter) student to write it for her?

Ask her some questions about it. You should be able to tell by interrogation whether she wrote it or just read it once, or maybe not read it at all.

Does your school have a published policy concerning the outsourcing or subcontracting of assignments? Have you asked Kester ahout it? Just out of curiosity, is this for Managerial Finance 221 or Investments 365?
