| i am in wisconsin right now, i am out here for the weekend because my aunt got married on valentines day....anyway we are staying at my grandparents house..and my grandma loves her computer, she has a digital camera, which is her new toy and she had to take pictures of all of us. so she did, well a little later she asked me for some help because she couldn't get her computer to come up with the pics, i tried to help but had to leave after only about 3 minutes to go to the wedding.............well later that night we ended up coming home at around 12:30, we walked in to the smell of burnt food, we came into the kitchen and food was completely burnt sitting in pots, my grandpa said he didn't know where my grandma was all night, so i went down stairs to where the computer is, and she was sitting there, she had tears in her eyes!--and this isn't an exaggeration--picture disks scattered all over the floor, she had thrown things all around the room, paper all over, i felt so bad for her....she had been sitting there all night!! ..now thats techno rage...and insanity. |

| I think Techno-Rage, just like Road-Rage (and most other types of "rage"), bring out the worste in us Homo sapiens. I must admit that sometimes it seems like technology has turned on us, or at least on me......the printer that won't print......the computer that won't compute.......the organizer that won't organize.....all of these things seem to turn on me in the worste possible ways and at the worste possible times. Sometimes it seems like they have minds of their own and are just TRYING to make me mad. But then I stop and remember that they are all just collections of plastic, metal and a few other man-made materials and a sweet peace overcomes me and I realize that WE were not created for computers, printers and other devices, THEY were created for US. Once they stop helping us and start annoying us, it's time to leave them alone for a few minutes. |

Deep Mr. China. Real deep Actually, I think you have it right on. Sometimes when I'm trying to fix my computer, I actually start talking to it. "So, you think youve got me beat, hummm?! Well, I've got news for you! You are my SLAVE! I am your MASTER! You will OBEY!" etc, etc, etc. Its usually about then that I realize I had better go make a cup of tea or something and relax for a while.
~Wigmore
Wigmore is an English cheese that comes from Berkshire region and was created by Anne Wigmore. It is a vegetarian cheese made from sheep's milk and belongs to semi-soft cheeses. The curd is washed to remove excess whey, then packed in moulds to drain. The cheese has a fantastic taste, combining floral flavours with burnt caramel, mocadamia nuts and roast lamb. Wigmore constantly wins gold medals at the British Cheese Awards. |

CD's do funny things in the microwave.
Today I played with a computer's innards for the first time, and all by myself too. So I'd like to state how thrilled I am that I successfully installed a CD-burner and "slave" hard drive in my baby. There's a first time for everything. |
