Just got a new video card. Nvidia Geforce FX 5200.
Problem: My computer has spontaneously decided that I'm running a dual-monitor system. I'm not. This glitch seems to keep crashing my computer. I've tried removing the second monitor (which, coincidentally, is the same monitor on the same video card, it just has two different names) but in the settings area it still shows up. Any ideas? |

| When in doubt, get a new computer. |

Sounds like the kind of crap 98 would pull. I hated that.
But here's one way to remove them. Pull out the new card, put in the old. Boot. Let it figure it out (maybe) then swap them out again. Also with nvidia, you really need to make sure you have the most updated drivers. |

| And if that doesn't work, reformat. That usually solves it. |
