This semi-new forum is meant to serve as a reference about various topics. Here you can ask questions about any field of knowledge, and hopefully a GLer with the appropriate PhD will respond. Also feel free to discuss less absolute things.

I especially urge GLers who don't frequent the Off-Topic forum but possess a great deal of knowledge (like the VSP crowd) to frequent this forum as wells, so this experiment may prove beneficial to all.
Also, to the younger GLers, a part of the idea behind creating this forum was a place where you can get help with your homework. While people may not want to do the whole thing for you, it can be a great place for help with the more difficult questions, or the ones your teacher won't answer.

If you'll look at the threads I moved from OT, anything that wasn't about opinions, debates or randomness, was moved here. So far it's mostly asking for computer help, asking questions about fields in science and asking for explicit help with homework.
