I did ask if anybody did play warhammer 40k a few months back, (or was it a year?), and I didn't get much of a respond, except that a few people did know of its existence.

So I hereby extend my (not so wealthy) knowledge of the game and Universe to people who might be interested. Let's start off with a simple question.

What is Warhammer 40K?
Warhammer 40K is a tabletop miniature game that was formerly known as Rogue Trader. The players may buy miniature models (minis) to represent the army he wants to play. Warhammer 40K is a sci-fi universe based on Warhammer Fantasy Battle and has been around for approx. 10 years. The game is played on a turn by turn basis and it is played at a squad level skirmish. The minis come in metal, or plastic, and needs to be cleaned, washed, and painted before it is playable.

OMG! You got the forgeworld model! Very nice

This makes me wanna take pictures of my (not so big) Necron army and my new fledgeling non-Loyalist Guards army (only 1 model completed )

OST, have you seen the details on the bloodthirster available on forgeworld right now?

BTW, what's the stats on the Heirodule? And are those 2 venom cannons or 2 barb stranglers that I see? Or is it some funky weapon that only forgeworld can come up with?

I have seen the Bloodthirster of Khorne, I think it will go nicely with my Chaos Titan.

I don't remember what the stats are for the heirodule but I believe they are Venom Cannons and Scything Talons. It also has a small ripper swarm molded into the base.

Chaos Titan? Wow.

It looks like as though you are good at painting models. Do you usually highlight your minis? From the looks of it, your heirodule's highlighted. Do you varnish them? Does the paint come out as matt or glossy?

I really need to put my minis' pictures up
