| I think I am spending too much time here. Talking during lunch at work I almost referred to my wife as Bambi. |

| I guess it could be worse...like assuming your wife's real name was really Bambi. *cough* Not me of course. *whistles innocently* |

| Wasn't it BraveHat who once confessed to having said "LOL" in response to something his girlfriend said? That struck me as a bit odd. |

I saw a licence plate that started with AGA the other day, made me think of the GL right away.
Also, we have this notepad on the fridgem, where we wrte the stuff we need to buy. The other day I nearly misspelled corkscrew

I have a friend who has never been here, yet (through me), says "woot" and occasionally "lol" (one sound) out loud.
For EEEM: She's almost the opposite of a computer geek. Picture Paris from Gilmore Girls saying "woot". That's what I mean.

Sorry I messed up your lab. (That is assuming you didn't spell it as "Pablo.")
I had a hard time reading HP5 with the new character's name. I couldn't picture her right. |

I know many people who say w00t outloud. It's not a GL thing... it's a computer geek thing.
When Mith was teaching my math class I called him Mith a couple of times. I don't think anyone heard, including mith. If he heard me he ignored me. I think I called him Mithyphil once as well. |

| Similar to the cork incident, when I as in France my host mother wanted me to write a weekly schedule of something (I don't remember what.) When I got to Saturday, which is "Samedi" I wrote "Samadhi" |

| On a related string: I was looking for a specific paper in my room, no easy task, and sat back after a few minutes and said to myself: "What the hell am I doing? I'll just the Find feature..." and went to move my mouse to do it. Now that's hopeless. |

| I was at a friend's house, and sort of mid-conversation I hear her say "Lili, stop that!" I whirl around to see what I did wrong before I remembered Lili was her cat's name. (Cat was trying to eat my purse, was the bad thing). |

At least you only almost referred to your wife as Bambi...
Once I accidently called Ellen (whom I was dating at the time) "Mackay" to her face. She of course hit me on the back of the head (warranted), then proceeded to laugh at me (also warranted). It was quite funny, but I felt pretty damn stupid for doing it.

I have resisted saying "lol" out loud after we saw our resident ghetto whitegirl doing the finger snapping motion and saying "LOL...no you di'ent!"
Yeah, that was pretty scary. I say w00t in real life too. People ask if I'm canadian more than they should, though. Heh. |

The worst thing about this is, he still gets all pissy at me when I use words (or word fragments) like "uber-" or "woot"! I've never said "lol" though. |

| I use uber all the time... and along the same lines as Neo's wanting a search function for life... Not quite as bad but similar. Sometimes I assume everything has a little beeping function like portable phones. Touch the base and what you're looking for will beep. So sometimes I find myself looking for a button to find my keys instead of actually looking for my keys... or even stuff like a pen, or my camera, or my satchel. I wish everything had a beeping function. At least if I lose my cell phone I can call it and listen for the ring. I've used that trick numerous times. |

| You can get one of those beepy things with a remote for your keys, though. My friend has one...the only problem is other things set it off too...like a certain teacher's voice. I'm not kidding...she kept setting it off in class. Heh. |
