Sorry, never played FF1. I'm pretty surprised someone else nominated Schala - I thought she was pretty obscure. And nonplayable too. Ooh, who nominated Clayman??? Haha, the Neverhood rocks.

I've only played 1 FF game, the 3rd/6th one. That was enough for me to cringe every time I see the letters FF. I also tried CT but it wasn't interesting enough for me to force myself to play it.
