I think you know the numbers that the scum know. As far as everyone else knows, there may only be 3 scum, and you come out and say 4?

I said there are probably three mafia and an SK. Since no one has entered any speculation otherwise, I think that's a reasonable guess. Bah! Since the first five people to die have been townies, the game is just to see which of the bad guys wins, and right now I'd say the SK has a zero chance.
So Tseirp-lurker, since this is your first post today and you offer nothing constructive, you've jumped to the top of my scumlist. Two people were killed last night. What do you think the make-up of the remaining players is, scumwise?

It does seem like a resonable guess given the number of players who started the game. That still doesn't lower my suspicion of you, though it does raise my suspicion of Tseirp a bit. Unless the mafia were super powered, having only two in a game this size would be unbalanced toward the town, especially with a second killing party in the mix.
I would prefer a Livingod lynch today, but as Quailman is #2 on my list I would feel justified lynching him as well.

that doesn't mean we will have a full assortment of cops, but I do expect us to have SOME amount of cops.
Probably more than just one paranoid one.
We're so bloody close to LOL maybe even on it, that I don't really bloody see the point in our police choosing to hold back results at this point.

think about this: 4 people claimed cop on day 1. i take these as serious claims. this suggested a dethy setup to me. people who claimed cop: MNOWAX (paranoid), Livingod, Tseirp, Wld / TopHat. and now Quail has also, + a reasonably good nameclaim. So one of them is probably lying. unvote (if any) vote: Tseirp for jumping on Q in a quicklynch attempt at what can reasonably be assumed as a lylo situation. QUICKLYNCH IS BAD
I also agree with Pooky: this is probably our last shot, anyone with damning evidence should come forward.

One clarification: I do not claim to be Naive. I only suspect that I am because of who I am and what I know about him. And I have no evidence to the contrary in my results. |

may i humbly request an extension on deadline? I mean sure if noone says anything in the next few days i guess keep it, but it would be good to have more discussion. (eg: analysis from Pooky, much more from Tseirp and whoever else hasn't posted their analysis; the people who claimed cop on day 1 giving results if they have any that could help (only a cop or scum would claim cop in that situation imo) etc).
still deciding whether or not to vote Qman if deadline comes with no viable alternative. |

I'm sitting here with four votes. I've already had my say, but since no one else is speaking up I'll say more. I have received votes because I was involved in lynching innocents. Their behavior and explanations were fishy, especially IH.
Now, I've voted for Tseirp because of his throwing the fourth vote on me. That was his only post today. Though as a rule I don't like to bring up activity outside the current game, he has been quite active in another mafia game. And guess what - he voted for IH also (I didn't go back to check the day 1 lynch). The guy is clearly scum.
I expect that if nothing happens until near the deadline and there is a scum who is not already voting for me, he will add the fifth vote. That will pretty much end the town's chances. Even if we end the day without lynching a scum it will probably end it, as the mafia will most likely kill a townie and only if the SK kills a mafia will we have a chance. |

for the record, i am not a cop.
from my perspective, LO, Tseirp and TopHat are cops (or scum) unless they claim otherwise. Everyone else is not a cop unless they claim otherwise. Of course i would rather them show up to say as much. Esp. liv who is so obv a cop or pretending to be one but won't say anything.

His claim could very well be valid, though I also would question his competence just based on his character. However, if he is claiming truthfully, he was right about Talzor so he may also be right about Pooky. From what I remember of the show, Control always managed to beat Kaos in the end, even if Max didn't play the determining role in getting there. Max also was not naive. Incompetent perhaps, but not naive. Quailman may be a straight competent cop. Or he may be a liar. I guess that remains to be seen, though so far we have been presented no evidence to contradict anything he claimed in this post.

That's pretty much an OMGUS vote in my opinion, but Quail's assessment does sound reasonable, as I stated in post 403.

If you really want to know the truth, I have no reason to tell you it. I am a cop, Chief Wiggum from the Simpsons. Based on background knowledge, my orignal assumption was that I would either be paranoid or naiive, and my results have shown no variance to that patern. That is why I havent said anything, because I dont want to reveal my investigations that I still believe are not true. |

Well, night as well claim. I'm a cop, Inspector Gadget. I asked Amb whether I was the Matthew Broderick one or the 1980s one, and he said that I was the cartoon. By that, and my knowledge of the cartoon, I reckon that I am insane. Since Gadget often confuses the good guys for the bad and vice versa. Though at this point, I cannot deduce my sanity from my investigation results. I cannot even tell whether I'm naive or paranoid. This, I believe, is due to my insanity and a certain game mechanic. Again, I am not sure about my insanity, I just believe that it fits with my role and night results. My vote on Pooky was to test that certain mechanic. But now, seeing as how my Pooky vote would get us nowhere and that Quail seems scummy, I decided to go back to old-fashioned scum hunting, at least for the time being.
