RULES:
[00] Newbies should try to make themselves familiar with the basic rules of mafia as described in the FAQ and theory sections on http://www.mafiascum.net (Reading older games wouldn't hurt either)
[01] Have fun and don't be a jerk. Please have consideration for the other players and the mods, and actually PLAY the game by posting and voting. If you cannot post for some reason, please contact the mod.
[02] No communication outside the thread unless your role allows you to do so.
[03] Get your choices in before the deadlines. If not, no choice will be made. Or I might just make an evil choice for you. You have been warned.
[04] No quoting role PMs, night messages or the mods without permission. If you have a death wish, request replacement. When in doubt ask the mod.
[05] If you're dead YOU'RE DEAD. No more posting relevant information after that. One bah post is allowed.
[06] Lynching will be carried out once the number of votes needed is reached.
[07] Only votes in BOLD will be counted. Unvotes are not mandatory, but strongly recommended. eg: Vote: pete d or unvote, vote: pete d
[08] Only votes with players correctly spelled names (or abbreviations, see player list) will count.
[09] Do NOT edit or delete your posts under pain of modkilling! If you made a coding error, just post again.
[10] Do NOT post in invisible text or at night.
[11] The mods are always right. Deal with it.
[12] The game will begin with Day 1, then Night 1, then Day 2, etc...
[13] This game is meant to be fun. So have fun. Or you will be modkilled.

granted an early wagon to -1 is a bit odd, i dont really like it when tons of people take their vote off just to seem unscummy, even though its relatively safe.
lets look at why its safe, and maybe even a good idea.
he gets to L-1. no scum is gonna hammer. theyll be the dumbest scum ever.
it puts pressure on him, which may not be entirely necessary right now, but hell, it's a start

I could see a scum hammering and having no one vote them because there is no way a scum would be that stupid. After a 1000 revolutions, all we'd end up with is a pointless day 1, with knives drawn like mad on day 2.
Day one often doesnt get good discussion. We now have fodder. All the people on the bandwagon (including me) may now fairly come under fire. |
