Ok, Dutters... you had your chance to post something helpful and help me prove Theo wrong, but you blew it! Looks like I'll have to be the first to post something helpful after all!!

I'm fairly sure that Dutters isn't scum. The speed with which he jumped in to claim the letter "b" after I put out that speculation about letters at the begining of the alphabet would have been pretty foolish play if it wasn't true (...and the speculation is still out there as a possibility if any of you are considering your position?)

Looking Back over Day 2:

We now know UM was a member of the mafia.

Look at the ease with which MattV managed to get UM to back off (round about Post 219) when it looked like MV might be actually heading for the tippex. UM accepted MV's defence and un-voted him when it became clear MV might have been in danger ... only to return to vote for him again when it was safe to do so. Why would UM have backed down if MattV had been town? He could have quite safely kept his vote there and waited to see if any would apply the coup-de-grace. (I know it's not French Mafia, but you get the idea!)

I retain my bad feeling toward DP, but there are better targets out there. MAG doesn't look too clean to me right now but I need to review that.

I prefer Middle Aged Guy too. He was pretty much going to get my vote no matter what based on his last post of yesterday, and I see no reason to choose someone else now. If indeed MAG is mafia, then the attempt to divert his bandwagon will probably lead to the last remaining scum.

MNOWAX: Clearly, blocking Dutters did not prevent the kill two nights ago. Either the Mafia missed the deadline (Two weeks? - doubtful) or someone else prevented the kill through protection or being unnightkillable himself (or something else I'm not thinking of right now). Nevertheless, I'd like to know whom you blocked last night.

Time for a re-read. I've got a couple of gut feelings, but not worth mentioning before I reread.
