You could check at your school and see if they have any employers coming for recruitment visits, or if they have a web site for job postings (although I'm guessing you may have already done that). Also, a lot of larger companies have an online application process, and there's usually a section for student positions. So you might try picking a company you want to work for (most of my friends in mech eng have ended up working for car companies on their work terms) and see if they have such a thing.
