- Currently the color of the background does not match the background on images. This is on a Mac using one of the newest Safaris. Cache was cleared.
- The images are a bit large.
- We lost PALADIN :-( |

I'm on a Windows machine with IE 6.0. It had never been to the GL before, and I can see it too. _________________

| Same. Firefox 2 is OK, in IE 7 there is an ever so slight color difference |

| Maybe a shade or two off, hard to see if you don't look for it, is a problem, though. |

Firefox 2 on my laptop. Didn't see it initially, but happened to notice it when I tilted my screen back for a moment. If I focus, I can see a bit of a frame around the icons. _________________

The GL background is CADCFF. Copying the images from Firefox reveals this as the background to the images there. In IE, though, C4D8FF is the color for the image backgrounds. Not real useful info, but I was proud I figured that out all on my own, so I shared it.
I don't know if Kevin's still around to see what we're saying. If he's not, I can easily fix this, though. I just have to change the transparency and put it on the right color. |

I think web safe colors are an outdated concept. They were a block of colors that wouldn't need to be dithered on 8 bit display. I doubt very many visitors are seeing the site in 8-bit color. |

The image's background really is CADCFF, but I think there's a bug in IE's handling of PNGs. I'll see if I can fix it somehow. |

That is true I suppose.
Note the color difference is noticable in Safari and not just IE. |

| We still need to shrink the icons at the top. Too big! |
