First, I agree with what Hy said. Courk's done a pretty perfect job of moderating VG and I'm sure she'll do the same here.

Second, quite apart from anything, since when is it up to the mod to decide the topics for discussion? It's not. It's her job to keep the forum from breaking, move the odd thread, etc. I'm sure even a fifteen year old can manage that ~rolls eyes~

Oh, and your strange idea that Courk only talks about manatees and polymorphing is pretty ridiculous as well. As far as I can tell, she's a much loved and respected member of the GL, and more than capable of intelligent discussion. Sheesh.

Dear Mr. Saw,

I appreciate your continued support and though input towards the end of returning and maintaining the Grey Labyrinth to under the allocated 200 megs of server space.

As a fellow Labyrinthian, I share your concern that we might lose services in the near future if this issue is not addressed as soon as possible.

However, I also have the utmost confidence that the new Minotaur, and the scrambled slate of Moderators will be able to accomplish this goal in a reasonable ammount of time.

Furthermore, you seem to show concern about questionable content that has increasingly become the "norm", especially in the Off-Topic Forum. I also share these concerns. I find fewer and fewer intelligent debates and thought-provoking threads. Perhaps this is because we have already exhausted the supply, perhaps not.

Once again, I have the utmost confidence that anyone given the responsibility will rise to the occasion and moderate the Off-Topic forum in a correct and just manner.

Furthermore, you have expressed doubt not just in the subjects, but also in the visitors that post replies to these threads. The "polymorphing manatee" was an example you used frequently to illustrate this point.

May I direct your attention to an old Paladin Puzzle, titled similarly "polymorphing kakapo" over which not one complaint was registered.

In addition, there are countless other threads that are "wasting" server space. You must recognized that you are not excluded from these threads. One in particular, the "GL Battle of the Bands" should serve as an eye-opener.

Not only was that thread "Off-Topic", it contained no intellectual conversation, and it featured one Buzzsaw as one of the most freqent posters.

Please understand, Mr. Saw, that you are not unlike the rest of us. The issue we face is very touchy, and I believe, for the good of the many, that we try our best to cooporate and trust in those that have been selected to lead us.

Thank you for your time, Mr. Saw, and I truly hope that you take my opinions into consideration when you take a final stance on this issue.
