A New Update with the New Look!

Many exciting changes have occurred lately here at the Grey Labyrinth. Some, like the recent server move and design change, have been very public. Other changes, however, have been more behind the scenes.

The general public will only feel the effects of most behind-the-scenes changes, rather than see the changes themselves. One change I'm happy to now announce, however, is the formation of an annual GL Puzzle Hunt. It's like A big scavenger hunt, with puzzles. Kind of like a certain movie starring Nicholas Cage and the concerning treasures of a national variety. The Hunt is designed to be solved through teamwork, though it is still doable on an individual basis. So why don't you go to the Discussion Forums and get started?

The Design Team has been working hard on this Hunt, and looks forward to your efforts in completing it. It is certainly our most ambitious offering yet, a lot of time and effort went into the creation. While the public face of the Labyrinth is usually the Resident Minotaur, there is a very important group of volunteers that do the bulk of the puzzle creation, design, and editing. While credit is usually given to these people in the form of by-lines or image credits, they can never be thanked enough for their contribution. I would like to list all the authors and contributors of the Hunt now: Courk, Samadhi, Chuck, MatthewV, Antrax, Amb, and zorTKitty.

To tie up some loose-ends, solutions to puzzles that have been solved, but haven't had their solutions published yet, will be coming soon. There are some formatting and design issues yet to be hammered out with the new layout, and it's easier for us to make the adjustments now, rather than constantly trying to play catchup with old material.
