... I am officially a newlywed. As of July 8, 2000. We had a great day. All went well. We went to Sandals in St. Lucia for our Honeymoon - 10 days. It was a great vacation nice and relaxful. The island is beautiful - everywhere you look its green and floral. The country was poor, obviously, but it wasnt a depressing poor. Everyone seemed to be happy and healthy.
If anyone has a chance to go down there for a honeymoon, anniversary etc, I strongly recommend it. It was all inclusive, so it was a bit expensive but it was awesome and worry free (except for the mosquitoes which seemed to prefer the women to the men)

Thats pretty cool. There are two Sandals in St. Lucia - if they stayed at the Halcyon (the smaller of the two) like we did, I'm sure I could pick them out of a lineup. I might even have spoken to them at some point. It was a very friendly atmosphere. People talked and mingled all the time.
