At L-5 I didn't want to get hammered after the next vote, so I claimed.
In a game without vanilla townies there's certainly a doc around, so I'm safe from kills and I can use my abilities to help us winning.

@independent: if you're really going to claim cop, then please reveal your role name, too!

Having multiple cops is an indicator that we're dealing with varying levels of sanity. We can't trust any investigation results until we can determine if they're sane or not.

I don't see how x-ray-vision wouldn't be a cop. He is also said "these aren't the final roles", or something similar. So don't count too much on that. I count x-ray-vision as a roleclaim/nameclaim.

i need some answers regarding the cops. are you counter claiming each other? or are you just claiming you are a nother cop? if so, yeah we should be investigating the same person. also X ray vision may be more specific to the kind of info that he gets versus radar.i don't know it sounds fishy to me, but ill let it go for now.

In the role PM I received there is - aside from character name and role - also a power name. Mine is "Soul Eyes". I believe independent's "X-Ray-Vision" is his power name, which leaves a character name to be claimed.
Also I think it is quite likely that there are two cops, but one of them is probably paranoid or crazy without knowing it.
A mafia claim at this early stage wouldn't make much sense.
I hope though, that there are also two doctors around
